I do admit I think a lot of our problems are of our own doing.

I'd be more worried if we were being outclassed.

If we have the best squad why are we showing relegation form is it the manager
What is this bollocks?

I've seen a lot of fans repeating this but where is this best squad?

Especially when the same people call half our team crap.

Our attack is brilliant apparently. Ndiaye aside, McBurnie has picked up but hardly pulled up trees, then you have a 26 million kid who had a good spell at Swindon, A captain who looks pretty much done as a force and a young lad who had a decent loan but looks out of his depth.

Are we saying Basham, Osborn, Lowe, Baldock are great players?

We signed a young lad who had a mixed season at Blackburn last season. A lad who has hardly played senior football but a great talent.

A lad who did well on loan at Cardiff last season without being that stand-out.

30 year old Norwood and Fleck on the downslope.

Wes and Robbo, who had great seasons last time out but were error prone before then.

Berge is hardly the big beast some make out. One of our best players but it's not like he runs games.

Ndiaye is a huge standout. Anel has impressed greatly. Bogle is obviously a talent. McBurnie has done it regularly previously but not really for us. Egan is either a liability or worth more than £10 million depending on what week it is.

RND has had a good run but mixed before then.

We are not a top 2 team and yet we were exceeding expectations and now we're not. We need to somehow address the slide before the world cup, agreed, but we're really struggling in several areas.

Current form is 2 points from the last 15.

I don't wish for us to be one of those clubs that acts rashly, but even the manager with good backing can walk himself into the sack with that sort of form.

Fail to win on Saturday and you're looking at no win in six and maximum 3 points from 18. Half a point per game in the form table.

That's not a look you can sustain that well.

Hopefully the players, Management and even Lady Luck can do something to reverse this trend on Saturday and until November 12th.

After a while the "we're still top we're still in the autos, we're 4th" threads will easily lose momentum.

Once you get in a rut it's not easy to escape. Plus, just like us, do we think that Watford aren't also thinking if we pull ourselves together we can do this? What about Norwich? Burnley? For as limited in resources as they are, Blackburn and QPR have the points now. The opportunity is there for them too. Given how abject we've been of late, anything slightly resembling the pre international form and we'd be half home and dry.

For those looking at 2 points per game for the autos, it requires 5 straight wins to get us back to that level.

We can get by Norwich, they are struggling as well as we are.
Josh Sargent was injured in the 1st half of their last game and didn't come out for the 2nd half. They also lost Kenny McLean to a red card.

Fact no other team(s) appear to be showing consistent dominance is the only current positive. It's a very mediocre top of the table all handing each other chances to stay in the mix.

Whoever escapes to the prem will be humiliated

Not necessarily - some will spend in January

Wednesday are in the third tier.

We’re two points off the top of the league despite a bad run of form and a huge injury list.

There isn’t a better squad in the league than ours

Keep the faith

We will be joining them at this rate, 2 points from 15 is hardly something to be cheerful about😩.

Course, it's not a disaster. But blips last 2 or 3 games. We're now up to 5. 'We're only 2 points off top' can soon become 'We're still in the play offs', which eventually becomes the sort of stuff the presenters spout on Football Heaven such as 'What's everyone complaining about, you're only 4 points off the play offs'. But truth is, I think the last statement is where we'll probably finish this season.
