Really really promising ...but

For me it’s all about chances required to score a goal.

Your standard Top six generally need one or two chances to get one, especially top two (as Liverpool demonstrated).

Mid table / upper half probably looking about 3-4 chances per goal.

Relegation / bottom half it’s probably 6+ per game.

We seem to be waiting for the golden chance and waiting too long, in a league where chances will be at a premium. We need someone who is either going to take those chances or create more for others.

Brewster may be that person, we’re yet to see, but our issue is a reduction in goals plus a minor increase in conceding. Last season we were solid and taking those chances. This season we’re not.

I’m indifferent to McB, he’s great at some things and poor at others, but the chances against Fulham and the like WILL be the thing that bites us later on.

Golden chances can’t be missed with the current level of frequency and still expect survival.

I feel we really shouldn't be happy with a defeat against Liverpool. Still only one goal from open play in 6 games. Please watch the video to see how I think we can fix this. Thanks all the best Gozza.

Dear me..............Another one !!!

Cheers me up no end reading doom and gloom comments, some of you would have gone down a storm on the Titanic we're 6 games in FGS.

Yep they said the Titanic was unsinkable. Trouble is using your anology if Capt Smith had acted sooner more might have been saved.

I am still so undecided about McBurnie overall - sometime looks ok/good and other times a league 1 player - but thought Saturday he played well, even Klopp said so. Cant see him getting into (m)any other PL sides though and his finishing is woeful
