There used to be a Blade who stood behind me on the kop [when it was terraced] and shouted COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZAAAAAAAARDS at the start of the game, then everyone else would go "aaaaaaagh!", "aaaaaaagh!""aaaaaaagh!" one after another. Sometimes it went on for ages.

You must have been stood pretty close to me. You'll probably also remember the "Pie Men" as we used to call'em - really big blokes who used to down many pints pre-game and then come in munching pies. Was just talkin to my son about those days including the afternoon power cut games when we all used to wag-off school to get down there. Good old days - including ducking under the barrier as the mass of flailing bodies came crashing down like a wave on us.....
