Having been to all the games in the last 7 days I'm really pleased with the positives.

A good performance at West Ham where we could have easily come away with a point.

Despite losing Davis early on at Watford we come good with the performance of Bromby and espsecially Morgs.

We've seen 2 full debuts from Nade and SQuinny who both show so much promise and gained 6 points. Special mention to Keef too who's performing at his best at last. We've made loads of chances, and yes, it's maybe not going to be as easy in the following matches.

But the person who I think has made the difference is Morgs.

The man has been huge on and off the pitch recently. He's a great guy to have around and for me has been the surprise of the season so far.

Up The Blades!

:)

Morgan has been terrific, truly putting in captain's performances. Jags looks out of place in midfield though. Against fizzypopship clubs he did well in midfield, but in the Premiership I think the only place for him is in defence, partnering either Morgs or Davis. To be honest, I think Morgs has looked far better than Davis, Claude seems too easy to beat in the air.

Keeeeeef/Corned Beef/Gillespie is, as SF says, finally showing why he is really top class.

Small Quinn also has shown that he has the class and ability to step up from good academy player to good first team player. If he can play in the Premiership as well as I have seen him play for the Academy, then he will do very well indeed.

Monty? Jury is still out. Very good at winning the ball, bloody awful at passing 9 times out of 10 so far.

Same here.

I have been to all 3 and we have played very well in all. We were unlucky at West Ham not to get anything.

Lets take this form into the Villa game eh.

Whilst morgs has been great the last couple of games, what was he doing for the goal charlton scored?

BOOOO not good enough. Havent won all our games this season.

Rubbish game against charlton, needed to creat more chances. we conceded a goal. we didnt score at least 10 goals. is there only me who can see this???

WARNOCK OUT!!!

I heard someone complaining after the game  They said Hulse was no poacher and would be in the top 3 scorers if he were. F**K me! How can you critisise like that? Yes, he missed some good chances but his movement off the ball and his hold up play to allow others in was just as important.

Booo Hulse out, sell him!!! ;)

I think that header he did wide on sat should have been chested down and volleyed in. Firstly the goal would have looked better, secondly he would have had more chance. But agreed, Hulse has been great so far, and I am eating my words from when we signed him.

I honestly don't understand why people are so surprised with how well Morgan has done.

Also, not to dampen the exquisite performances and results of the last 2 games, I still maintain if Warnock had started with a more positive line-up against West Ham, we'd have taken 3 points from that game too. However, I do wonder if it's because we lost against them that his team selections were so positive in the subsequent fixtures. Who knows... Me! :D Only kidding!

Don't really agree with Shorehamview on Jags, I think he's done well in midfield getting box to box, even corner-flag to corner-flag, and making some great ball winning challenges. Although he's not massive, he has a bit of height and he is a great athlete and adds a big chunk of strength in the middle of the park which we woefully lack.

I thought he may really struggle in the Premiership so yes I'm surprised.

Some people expect too much at times, Hulse is a great player and has done well to get 4 goals on his first proper season in the Premiership, and all the big £10 million players like Anelka et al have only got 1 or 2. I reckon Hulse will get about 10 goals this season, and if we stay up and get spending over the summer, he could bag about 15 or 20 next season and possibly earn an England call up, but that's being a little bit too optimistic there even though I'm Hulse's biggest fan. :D

Don't forget about Geary. I think he's been magnificent.

Young Quinn looked a tidy player.

Keef, awesome.

I like Monty and Jags in midfield, but not sure they have the quality between then to see us right through the season. But they certainly did well on Saturday.

Morgan was superb.

We were by far the better side on Sat.

Warnock played the right side, the right way and made the right changes.

Nothing to moan about.

BV's a happy Blade.

But based on what? :) I'm sorry, but I don't get why people thought he'd struggle. In our cup games against Premiership opposition, did he struggle more than anyone else? I know his pace is lacking but he's so commanding in the air, he puts his head in where most players wouldn't put their boot, he clears danger comprehensively and he typifies the no-nonsense centre half. Being a calm and collected centre-half doesn't work in a team scrapping for safety. Look at how often Davis, Bromby and even Jagielka have been caught out or had very near misses. The worst thing Morgan is guilty of is putting in rash challenges but that's only ever been as a last ditch attempt to stop a shot on goal and for me, he's ALWAYS been like that. Not to mention him weighing in with utterly crucial goals.

It just makes me wonder what people categorise as "Premiership quality".

Mainly his pace TA and his past flashes of the red mist.

But....up to now......

:)

Right now Morgan is necessary but if we get the chance next year (we stay up) we need to find folks who are more than great stoppers - passing and possession will become paramount if we wish to elevate our game. While things are down and dirty we need players who don't mess around - like Morgan. He deserves our praise.

I honestly don't understand why people are so surprised with how well Morgan has done.

Hmm....maybe after some of the shocking performances he put in against fizzy pop players.

Adebola at home springs to mind, he got out muscled, out paced and looked a complete liability.

But he's proved me wrong this year, he's done really well.
