Bill not happy with the officials! The microphone was switched off sharpish (no pun intended)...

Ordinary Blades go thru to 1/4 finals...............Cup must have our name on it if we can play like that and go thru to next round.

And if i was a Reading fan i would be asking those players of yours to show as much commitment in the league.

Who was Sharp squaring up to at the end? Think I heard him mention Morrison

Disjointed performance overall.
Freeman best player.
Hanging on at the end with some shithousing.
Wilder wont give 2 shits though as were in the draw for the last 8!

And Reading need to go borrow the Oval cricket roller and flatten out that bobbly POS playing surface.

They was nothing special we was sloppy compared to usual and they troubled us with nothing other than one shot henderson saved and one late on that went wide other than that they also created very little even though we was well off pace so they can't have been that good. They looked a mid table championship side to me. A top end one would have caused us more problems than reading did with the way we played today imo.

A pen so soft that in the replays you can't see what caused it, without that no danger.

Pretty poor though, team of individuals is the nice way of saying it I think.

Moose trying to get himself goals instead of the team, Didzy sloppy in possession, McBurnie looking like he'd had 4 cans of Special Brew.

Freeman is great sometimes but he wants so many touches sometimes he just stops the game. Osborn the same, pace and skill, but then he'll put his foot on the ball and kill the momentum, or switch off and lose possession.

Regulars a bit all over the place apart from Egan and Henderson, Berge replacing Norwood theorists have been dealt a blow, Retsos had an inauspicious debut, Robinson looked ok but headed one straight to their player on the edge of the box.

Thank Christ for Billy Sharp.

Won't be going any further with performances like that, expecting a full chewing out from Wilder in the interviews.

At least we got through.

But let's hope we see more games on SUTV, or whatever that was tonight. I actually found the constant (underserved) praise as offputting as the (non) football.

They looked ordinary as i said they would.

Berge and Lundstram two peas in a pod, dint work for me,Sharps goal came after the midfield had a shake up.

You said they'd over run us. They certainly didn't. As if Lunny, Berge and Freeman aren't physically capable against a Championship midfield.

Innit.

Get out of our arse. They were talking about us as though we'd just won our fifth Champions League haha

Please can we lay off Berge until he is up to speed. If anything, us getting on his back will only stunt/halt his progression. If this time next season he is playing like that, then fair fucks. The lad is 22, has a huge price tag over him, pressure to succeed and he’s just moved to a new country/city in a team who are performing miraculously, i dont know how we can expect the lad to instantly play as well as players who are giving every drop of energy week in week out and playing out of their socks every time, he needs a bit of time (in the great words of the beautiful south).

Showed more good moments than bad, but we're decent so you notice the bad ones more.
