Mousse is asleep - Berge is at half speed and we kept playing 50-50 40 yard passes when we were leading and needed to keep possession. Then the dick in black gives a pen for which there would be 20 in every game!

Start again guys - mostly doing OK but nothing sticking up front. Osborn and Freeman very sound.

Really disappointed with Moose and George is poor so far. Need the big lad up top.

We’ve been generally very comfortable. That was a ridiculously soft penalty – the sort of crap dive we’d say you wouldn’t find back in the Championship, but seemingly not here. I’d bring Mousset off – not really doing it today. Rest of the team have been fine. Berge might not ping it as much as Norwood or in quite the same way (in fact his one attempt to do so flew into touch), but he’s defensively made a lot of tackles/interceptions and has probably been more Coutts-like (2016-17 model) than Norwood, but with the ability to run with the ball.

This is a complete mess. Midfield need to get the ball down and play it. we have two quick tricky forward and we keep hoofing it? As for the pen, it was stupid to put two hands in his back. No reason to do so.

Really soft penalty but George puts his hands on him and forces the ref to make a decision ...he’s better than that

Hope we are not going to have a trevor senior moment.

Been impressed with Freeman. Worked his bollocks off so far and real quality on the ball. Osborn likewise. Berge looks steady but I don’t think his position is ‘vital’ to the game tonight.

And for me it was a penalty in today’s game. No need to do it though, bad decision but he rarely lets us down.

In today's game, what does that even mean?

He's looking for the slightest touch to go down to con the ref and that's exactly what happened!

If im being honest (expecting backlash) we look like shit hoof merchants. No one looks like they want they ball. Smashing balls into channels for people to chase like dogs is ok every so often but not everytime Reading apply the smallest amount of pressure. Its wasteful.

Puzzled by Berges roll, why we spending 20 mill on a player to stand in our own half a play 10 yard sideways passes? I could do his roll today with ease. Tell him to push up the pitch a bit more and drive with te ball.

Im a little concerned by some of our play today!

Observations so far.

We’re neat and tidy but it lacks intensity and urgency. Reading have hardly had an attack...their penalty was very soft...quite lucky BUT we’ve not threatened enough either.

We’ve missed the long ball option from Norwood...we’ve played ok but it’s too one paced and predictable. Our success this season has been because we mix up the passing game with the long ball game making us unpredictable

Our better performers have been Osborn and Freeman down the left.

Berge has been neat and tidy but based on his transfer he should be doing more. Lunny looks average....we’re missing Fleck. Also think Mouset looked quite poor.

We have a game on Saturday so don’t want extra time.

Couldn't agree more, apart from the first 15 mins when we were knocking it around and bossing Reading we morphed into an old Championship hoofball team!

On a side note their no.14 looks pretty gifted. Id keep an eye on him!

Esit: Just googled him and hes Ejaria, some liverpool loanee so im guessing he's in their plans

Look average without the work rate and ability of Ollie N and Fleckiesta in there. No disrespect to the others. We just can't expect to win many matches without them two

Why have we turned into long ball merchants...said the same against bmouth, hitting it into the channels. We need to be in control of midfield.

Worrying....
