I think the sell on % relates to any money you get for the player, even if it’s added on later. Obviously you’d pay the 15% later rather than earlier in your scenario through.

That said, I’m sure there’s all kinds of BS going on in every club to avoid paying. Eg swap deals.

You have to be very careful when selling players to the big seven. They don't need the cash from a sale so the only reason they'll sell is FFP or if the player doesn't do very well. They are masters of evading sell on clauses. Add ons should include appearances, contract renewals, goals, clean sheets, international caps, basically anything that stops them dodging extra payments. Be creative. A % of any fee received would've been good here.
