I don't get to listen often living in Matlock, but coming over the moors today at around 6pm I turned over to Radio Sheff.

Only to be greeted by the enthralling news that we'd be having a Q&A with the Ginger Pig. I presume we were afforded the same experience with Micky?

Needless to say, I put Morrissey back on the CD player.

Im beginning to agree with the OP. For the last 3 weeks its been all about 'The Massive'.

i ve listened to posters here and on radio massive compalin about bias and usually shrugged it off. But latlely you cant help but not notice..
The massive have signed some body ive never heard of from Carlisle!!!! for a week its all we heard about.
Should the massive sack their manager????? Should the massive keep their manager???? The massives new chairman has said he will bring in 6 new signings. The massives new chairman has brought in 6 new signings. The massive are shipping goals in. The massive have sold their captain. Who should the massive have as their next captain? The massive have sacked their new manager. Who should the massives next manager be??? The massives new manager is a ginger twat. Lets interview the ginger twat. I think you're missing the point with our neighbours.

They stopped referring to having 'fans' when they realised it was getting hard to justify not even having averaged 30,000 since the 1960s.

Instead they have a 'massive fanbase' this means that you can be a loyal pig but not go to a match for decades cos you are part of the 'massive fanbase.' It also makes it easier to fool the lazy media with their mythical massiveness.

I stopped being a regular listener a while ago. Someone on BM has put his finger on it saying they are reporters and not journalists, they just repeat and regurgitate(sp) everything that's told to them, they don't do any investigative stuff. Perhaps they don't want another situation similar to the Barnsley fiasco the other year when they were banned from 'Dingly-Dell' for a whole season, but if I remember rightly this was about money being asked for by Barnsley.
