Here's my slant on it
  • McCabe knew the pitfalls of owning a football club when he took over (If he didn't the man's a complete fool) - he is exactly like the people that have taken over Manchester City albeit having less cash!
  • If the club is costing him £millions year on year he would get shut - he hasn't so it can't be 'bleeding him dry'
  • His 'management' of the Blades has been nothing short of diabolical - his appointments woeful, his direction non existent and his communication very, very poor
  • He has made the club a 'laughing stock' with his Tevez Saga, World Cup Saga, blaming everything and anybody but himself
  • His vision of being 'In Europe' within five years on our promotion to the Premier has totally backfired as we are now playing Pub League standard just five years after his comments
  • McCabe is like most people that have made their money in property, being in the right place at the right time, in essence a very lucky man - his business prowess is next door to useless!
  • Whilst ever he heads up the club we will be no-marks of the football world! Should McCabe have to finance us indefinitely? - YES until he gets out or sells - His Choice - but making up Nigerian Businessmen doesn't count!!!

When people get so rich that they have more gold than they can eat (as Mandy put it in the Life of Brian), they look around for soemthing to do with their money. Some buy yachts, some buy expensive women and some buy football clubs. None of these are considered to be productive investments.

McWobbleGob has wanted out for years ........... then the crash.....his portfolio was hit,his confidence dented and survival took over.

The value of the Blades without BDTBL is a negative figure even with the freehold it may still be.

(I may have lost that analogy around the halfway point)

You think you got anywhere near halfway?

I'd have gone with:

"He's like a cross channel swimmer who surrounded himself with silly twats who forgot to grease him up and then let him loose whilst they settled down for a few bevvies. He subsequently got lost and now the back-up boat is holed, he's freezing to fucking death, heading up the north sea towards Scandanavia with only the remote hope that Danny Wilson can keep his thumb in the holes long enough to at least pull him back in and maybe limp back to Blighty. Chances of ever seeing France, bollock all".

Just because others mocked us for our stance and actions on the Tevez Saga, doesn't mean we weren't right to do it....
