My source who told me this deal was happening back early June said wilder will get most of the funds to re invest.

He was right about brooks going and the club and the rumoured amount so here’s hoping

The money we receive for Brooks will go towards the transfer fees of the new players and their wages, and towards the wage bill of the other players, so we don’t have to sell anyone else.

The ‘lucky’ clubs get frequent changes of owners, each with more money than sense who each lose a fortune trying to get promoted until they lose heart and slink away with their tales between their legs. There aren’t many happy sets of supporters in the championship. Too many clubs weighed down by expectation, with supporters who really believe their club has a divine right to dine at the top table.
