Putting a "Y" on everything doesn't make a song

What really boils my piss more though is putting "The" before someone's name and "ster" after.

As in if someone had the surname Smith they would become "The Smithster" Wtf is that all about?

What would Mr Foster become? The Fosterster? Fuck off.

It just screams out "I'm a nob and have an unhealthy yearning to be liked"

Going home after a match recently and Wilder was doing his interview he referred to coutts as coutsy, Fleck as flecky and Duffy as, you guessed it, duffs! Definitely a football thingy

Think I have also heard Chris call Hanson,Hans

You know what they say about people with Big Hans?

..."You've learned to accept small openings as a constant barrier in life."

:o

Anyhow, all abaht the finger length...ahem, apparently....

Some people think adding a "y" on the end of someone's name is a bit matey, friendly, endearing etc.

It would be awkward with Duffyy, Husseyy, Laffertyy, Laveryy

Best example though is the Fast Show's Ron Manager on Ryan Giggs "Cor, Ryan Giggs, you know? Giggsy, isn't it? Mmm? Giggsy-wiggsy? Mmm? Oh! Ryan-y Giggsy-wiggsy. Isn't it? You know, marvellous." :D

That was Warnock and Blackwells favourite thing to do. "Good set of lads" followed by Browny, Tongey, Paddyy etc
