Not really questioning any of 'em Jim, but if current policy, for whatever reason be it financial or part of a bigger plan to attract investment, is to fill out our squad with loan players then we are at best seriously diluting our main strength.
Yep, agree with that. As I've said before, the re-profiling McCabe talks about can't be done in just 6 months. It boils down to the question, are we still hoping to build a team with serious promotion ambitions or cutting costs and re-building a squad which MAY be capable of going up but it's not the prime objective this season.
I suspect that the likes of Naysmith and even the long standing players on Prem / higher Champ wages will have to be moved on although the one thing that doesn't make sense in all this is the wages Ched must be on. He does at least, or should I say, should have 're-sale value' which also seems to be a consideration.
