Thought it might be interesting to have a place which collates preseason predictions for the championship

Excellent article from Gab Sutton has us second behind wilders Boro this season. Good insightful analysis from someone who Clearly puts the effort into his research

The NTT20 pod is usually a good listen also - on my agenda for this morning. So not sure where they have us finishing yet

Feel free to link to anymore

Four Four Two have us 3rd behind Boro and Watford.
Guardian barely a mention just 'they might get playoffs again'
I expect a spread of opinion about us to be honest

Why are so many predicting Boro to do well?
Is it just because of Wilder!

Yes but we lost a couple of pre season friendlies so I’ve heard we are nailed on for relegation!!😁

Seemed like boro’s main issue after wilder was appointed was having a hologram in net. They appear to have sorted that will a highly rated keeper from Man City. Rest of the side looks strong and experienced to me maybe just missing a top level striker

And we all know wilder is a good manager when he’s not sulking. I’d be surprised if they weren’t challenging tbh.

Play-offs at best.

Expecting a fair few no-shows away from home, similar to Stoke & Millwall last season.

To me our season rests on the form of our creative players

If we have Good seasons out of N’daiye / Khadra / AN Other (final signing heckinbottom is rumoured to want). We should be strong enough to challenge at the top. If they flop we simply won’t score enough imo.
