Avoid The Southern Belle, tasteless beer, place and people. Really is bad. Gets the Gillingham 'crew' in and whilst they are eminently slappable it doesn't make for a good day, unless that's your bag, and is heavily policed. The Will Adams Is good but not very big but in the Good Beer Guide. Dog and Bone is ok and there's a new micro pub at that end of town called Past and Present, but as in the name there ain't a lot of room..

Bottom line is Gillingham does not have that many decent pubs.

Parking is on street parking and you'd be lucky to get near the ground as its residents only with terraced streets. If you see a spot South of the old a2 and are within a mile of the ground I'd grab it.

If it was me I'd stop in Rochester as it's only 7 minutes by train and has a better pub range. The Man of Kent is very good with a range of ales and decent foreign lager. Plus parking is easier.
