we did dominate first half, hull offered nothing but really went for it in the second half.

We looked pretty shell shocked after the two early first half goals and I couldn't see us coming back from that.

All credit to hull, bruce realised he'd got it wrong and the changes worked. I was a bit disappointed clough didn't make any changes until the 80 odd minutes but I suppose we didn't really have many options

At the end of the day, each of Hull's players will be on at least six times the wages of each of our players (even if theirs only get half the average PL salary ad ours get doublethe average third division salary). That we came so close in the light of that disparity is amazing.

I was incredibly proud of our players yesterday. For the first time in my life they played without fear on the big occasion and should leave Wembley with no real regrets. Had we not fallen asleep at the start of the second half things probably would have been different but leading 2-1 at half time was always going to bring pressure on at the re-start.

I couldn't have asked for a lot more from them and can thank the manager and players for giving us such a fantastic cup run and day out. We deserved more but when you're up against a budget probably 6 x your own you can find some comfort in having played them off the park for large spells.

If we can keep this group together and add 2 or 3 in the summer I will be very excited for next season. Play in League One like we did in that first half and we will piss the league.
