4:30am kick off here and I couldn't sleep so been up since 2:00am, fucking idiot. I don't expect a lot these days and I have the luxury of no one in Walla Walla apart from me giving a fuck about Sheffield United. I still fume when we lose but the anger soon dissipates as the day goes on.
PROS
We kind of, almost, nearly managed to get a result.
Phillips is looking more healthy and adds some much needed energy.
Baptiste would be an improvement on Tanganga. Him and Kitching, with McGuinness as back up would be better than the current shit show..
Our fans were great, not sure if it's a spin on gallows humour but they were noisy and deserved more.
CONS
We didn't get a result. Naive, cowardly, too negative, all could be used to describe us at the moment. We looked nervous and scared the whole 90 minutes as we have no leaders on the pitch.
Japhet Tanganga, sorry but he cost a lot of money, he isn't very good and isn't a leader of men by any stretch of the imagination.
RND, just like the other night he was indecisive and allowed himself to be robbed of the ball to give them a run on goal.
Brereton Diaz, send him back! Wonder what Donovan thinks when he's sat on the bench watching that great clumsy oaf, knowing that the manager is picking him in front of him.
Shackleton, should have binned him off on a free.
The manager, I know he'll be on the defensive and trying to tell us how we went toe to toe, matched them apart from two worldies (that could have been avoided) , have players who are tired and all the usual shit.
I'm glad we have a break, not because I see it is a chance to regroup and work on our tiredness ffs
but more that I won't be getting up at stupid O clock to watch the pampered little fuckers. I know no one makes me do it, it's my choice but I love my football club, have done for over sixty years, I wish some of the wankers currently wearing the shirt felt the same way.
