3 of them have been refs in the EPL since 2021, the date of the Daily Fail article. Even Riley got it right occasionally before he retired from the PGMOL by not moving Stroud up.

I'm pleased Gillet is being recognised - a class above most refs.

How Keith Stroud has been assessed to be a top ref in the Champ and worthy of officiating Prem games is beyond me. I remember him at Coventry - he missed loads, got numerous decisions wrong bottled sending Dabo off for an obvious second yellow and struggled to retain control during the second half.

Stroud is fucking awful, one of the worst refs in the Championship. He's also 51 according to the article, should be on the way down not up. No point in promoting hasbeens for one or two seasons.
