....is my bold prediction.

We will win tonight and every game left apart from MK Dons which will be a draw.

Wendy will also go unbeaten until the end of the season but they will draw at home to Carslisle and away at Brentford.

The only nagging doubt is Stevenage and my dream that we lose one game 0-1................

I think you are suffering brain damage, Torrers.
Lack of oxygen is my diagnosis.

I'd say acute physical exhaustion arising out of excessive exercise.

P.S. Torrix, if you're right, can we have a special celebratory avatar? :)

I can't help it, and this isn't a len-esque type post, but when I look at our fixtures, I can never see where we're going to get another point from. Sstarting from this evening, I can only see five straight defeats and I can always think of reasons why we'll lose.

Conversely, when I look at the oinkers' remaining games, I can only see five more wins...... it isn't new, it's always been like that, possibly born out of decades of let downs.

This bit's for Pinchy really, several times he's posted that we'll need 87 points and he was sticking to that. I've always thought that might be a little bit short, although the grunters relentless form couldn't have been foreseen, they'll surely manage more than 4 points in their last four games?

Lets hope they dont then our task becomes alot easier. How is it in recent history when they change manager mid season they always go on a good run yet when we do its the opposite.

It looks very much like it, mate. I am currently having counselling in contemplation of being wrong. Can anyone help as to how it feels? :)

That said, I still think they'll stumble at both Colchester and Brentford and in one of their two home games, probably Carlisle. A win, a draw and two defeats. Still not impossible by any means.

As you accurately articulate, a typical Blade will see our fixtures surrounded by vipers and theirs by spring lambs! Objectively, though, you'd want ours.

Quite right, but they missed out by several points, as Southampton went up on 92.

It's slowly sinking in that a team from Sheffield is going to miss out with an abnormally high points total.....

Spot n, twice in the last 10 seasons the third placed team has achieved 87 points, every other season they have had less.

This seasoN we already have 85 ( daft last 10 mins at Rochdale notwithstanding)' and they have 83. I think it's inconceivable that we will not hit more than 87, and the same for Wednesday.

I only hope it isn't them that's laughing at us...
