Our programme seller at the top of Bramall Lane is going to have to remember his new words. It will seem strange at first.

Premier League rules state that a surcharge of 50p must be placed on each programme if there is an Shouty-in-ground salesperson.

That's utterly bizarre. Does the away team get a say in how much they cost?

An extra 50p over the season brings in not a great amount when put alongside what the club is earning this year. Alongside ticket increases, the membership cost surge, I think that’s something that would have been a good thing for the club to say they were maintaining prices on. Would have been a small and easy fan-friendly thing to do.

Plus it fucks up the iconic 3 Quid chant.

The reason I remember that game is because it made a big impression on me at the time. It was very early in my time supporting the Blades, in fact I think it was my first season supporting them. It taught me that no matter how lost a cause may seem, never give up. Anything is possible if you try hard enough and don’t give up (in football but also perhaps in life too).

Of course it doesn’t always turn out like that, but I’ve never been one to leave early ever since that match. Because you never know them buggers might surprise you!

My dad stood up from his seat, put his hands out and saying with a shocked expression on his face "Three nil??" The Green Un reported that after the goal "three angry Blades fans were led out of the ground by a policeman ". They would have regretted missing the fightback!

There’s no place like a football terrace for huge swings of emotion. In Wilder’s first season at one of those first few home matches we were losing and three gobby kids in front of us got up and left, shouting “gerrit f*ckin sorted Wilder this is shit”.

Fortunately he gorrit f*ckin sorted. But I’m expected them to be on his case again soon and be first back to the pub before the game’s ended.
