But... They don't present a channel that is meant to ask probing questions. They aren't journalists grilling Matt Hancock. This isn't PMQ's. This isn't even bloody Question Time. IT'S A SHEFFIELD UNITED FAN ACCOUNT THAT OFFERS NEWS, OPINIONS AND INTERVIEWS WITH PEOPLE RELATED TO THE CLUB. I just don't understand how this concept is missed by so many.

And yes, while the interviews are a rare opportunity to get inside info on the club straight from the horses mouth, Nick and Hal are under no obligation to anger, ridicule or offend HRH with their questions and also are under no obligation to turn down freebies and opportunities that arise from hosting the channel.

Do any other club owners get a regular grilling from fans? Probably not!

I do think a few awkward questions will be asked but the most important thing for everyone to remember is you are not lawfully required to watch it, it's very simple really.

Look its Nick and Hals channel and they are free to present it as (and how)they wish. And we are free to watch it or not if we wish. We shouldn't be telling them what they can and can not do, its a free world and they do this in their own time.

I've never watched it but I will this time and I'd bet my bottom dollar all those criticising them do too. Its up to the individual to put their own spin on the interview after its taken place and be grateful that we are actually hearing from our owner.

However as in most walks of life a not insignificant minority will have made their own minds up before even hearing the interview.

As with all forms of media keep an open mind, take some of it with a pinch of salt and who knows we may be pleasantly surprised. If not at least we've heard it from the horses mouth.

Never presented myself as a journalist. My opinions have always been my opinions with the facts that I have. I’ve been more of a controversialist, saying things people get right royally fuck off with. I now hold my own counsel as I am not in a position to do anything. Interesting thing is some of you continue to chase me down regardless of my statement that essentially I can no longer court controversy as I’m not in a position to do so as I don’t know anything. Fact.

And out of that list of 17, I would want us to offer contracts to the top 5, Jebbo, Wes, and possibly Amissah and RND (once injury situation cleared up). After this season we could be wanting to move around 10 of them on that list on anyway. But we do need to get the Egan's, Baldock's and McBurnies on new contracts that is for certain.

I'd be interested to know out of Baldock, Egan, Bogle, RND and Jebbo, which of them have 1 year extension clauses to be triggered by the club. Surely some of them have these in their deals. It's just shame Brewster isn't on this list!

None. I had very little option on other occasions and some when I just got fed up of the flak. I found it odd as I was just saying stuff that 99% of people on here would have said in that position. I don’t see it as necessary to go on about it anymore for the reasons stated. I do know that if someone came on and made comments that were critical I wouldn’t reject as I can understand that anyone might regard the current state of affairs unacceptable.

Seems some have expressed their initial anger at the sale of Ndiaye and other frustrations with United, at yourself and Nick though why I have no idea. Maybe it's because they think you are closer to him and receive information and they havent concluded that you two are just fans like the rest of us and don't have any sway whatsoever in what the club do. Might also be a tad bit of jealousy from some though why I'm not sure. Either way, well done for taking the time to do this as I'm not sure I would have been so inclined to do this using my own time if I was in your shoes and I probably would have thought 'sod it'. Keep up the good work.

I think most of us will think we already know the answers that the Prince will give. However I'm sure most of us will still listen as I know I will do. Also, whether we as fans like the Prince or not, he didn't have to do this interview. I think the communication with the fans by the club could be much better but beggars can't be choosers and at least he has done this. I would have a bit more goodwill to the Prince though if we start to bring in some quality for the first team, starting next week.
