Prince on Sheff United Way

Well I much prefer the Prince going through a fan channel than using the main stream like Sly sports,or the British Bullshit Corporation and they've said they will ask awkward questions,so no problem with that.
Illy wanted to go,there's not much we can do,GLTTL ,but we move on now.

I will judge them on the questions they ask him
Plenty of tough and valid questions being sent.

That said the Prince is using a second, or 3rd, language so it's not always as easy to understand him anyway. ( Not a knock his English is significantly better than my Arabic!)

We’re a Premier League club solely releasing information sporadically via the owner talking to a fan YouTube channel. It’s bonkers. Whatever you think of the local and regional press, they are going to apply more rigour and push the Prince harder.
Exactly

Prince has done a lengthy sit down with sky sports news in the past. I’m not sure they would be interested any more. We don’t seem to be the type of story they cover. I’d be surprised if N’daiye leaving even makes the yellow ticker bar.

I think you are wrong there we're in the premiership and there will be lots of interest in what's happening at the lane.

I have just listened to the SUW podcast and they completely miss the point.
They talk as if the decision is completely in Ndiaye’s hands as to whether to accept our new contract or go to OM.
That is not the case.
What about our prerogative to hold him to his present contract for 12 months and see if he can keep us up ?
The power is in our hands to either get $15m today or keep him and get nothing next summer - so why not treat it like a $15m loan fee for the prize of $120m we’d get by avoiding relegation.
That’s the question for the Prince.
Was it better to get $15m today and lose our only chance of staying up or to “pay” $15m for a chance of $120m ?
IMHO we can’t get anything like Ndiaye goals & assists for $15m so it’s a no brainer.
So let the Prince explain why he thinks spending $15m on replacements is a better policy
Not sure that was ever really an option, as PA is (was) shit scared of losing him for nothing. Same with Berge who will probably leave before the season kicks off. Sounds like a case of 'sign or sell'.

Local media are interested more. The prince was on sky re the court case which is undoubtedly a bigger news story than a transfer.

This is my criticism of Abdullah, he uses a tamed social media outlet where the presenters have been induced to be nice to him by gifts of executive box tickets and award ceremony tickets.

It’s not in Hal or Nick’s personal interests to piss off the owner because at the moment they are gaining from the relationship.

It’s not SUW fault, but they can hardly be classed as an independent and fair viewpoint on the situation when they are being offered gifts and access to things that they otherwise wouldn’t get in return for painting the club and owner in a better light.

Absolute nonsense. I've questioned his decisions on our channel and directly.
I've personally never accepted any gift nor would I.

I don't wish to paint the club in any light other than the truth as I see it.

Why go on a chann
I see Princey going on Sheff United Way again.

How come the prince stays silent for so long but everytime there's bad news he pops up on that channel just like after Wilder left 🤔

It's almost like they're his PR patsies who will nod along and not push back on anything the Prince says.

Anyway I implore you all not to get sucked in and be overly gullible by what he says in that interview... it's clear that YorkBlade has sold out and is heavily censored on what he must and must not say/do
Why would you go on a channel when things are going well? At least he’s fronting up when the fans are not best pleased. It’s much easier to hide when things are shit.

I hope the interview will focus more on the future, post-Ili rather than the mechanics of how the transfer developed.

There are many on here who only want to know about who is to blame for his departure. At this stage that's a complete waste of time and energy. Leave that for a later date.

We have an important date a week on Saturday.

I would start off the interview requesting the Prince is totally honest with his answers.

How does Hecky (the most important person at the club) feel about this? What plans have the club in place to help Hecky with this current situation so that we are fully prepared for Palace?

I think the perception was with Illi we had an outside chance and now we don't. We all expected a relegation scrap but at least had hope. Now it looks as though we have given up before a ball has been kicked Can anyone see how we can now improve the team with around £20 million?

Difficult to take any SUWAY 'interview' with the Prince seriously.

They're already spinning out the PR line that we did everything we can to convince Ndiaye to stay. That he wanted too much money, wouldn't meet the Prince, blah blah blah.

The club accepted the first offer they received for Ndiaye. Evidently they didn't do everything they could. They did almost nothing.
First offer??
I'm sure Everton made a bid last season which we turned down

Nick has accepted freebies.
I'm not Nick. I cannot stop other humans from doing things. I can only speak for myself.
I'm on these videos as well and I hope to offer a fair, honest and balanced approach. I have seen some of the questions coming in. I wish I could ask them all, the video would be about 8 hours if I did and its unlikely anyone would watch that but I'll do my best to get all major areas covered. I'm looking to pose the tougher questions.

You are not Nick. But it remains a fact that Nick has, as the poster above said, accepted freebies from the club. This is public knowledge as Nick tweeted about it.

I look forward to your interview. At the end of the day, the Prince will talk to you and not to local media, so you have a terrific opportunity to ask pertinent questions and get information out there that is not in the public domain. Wish you luck with it..

Agree with that, if he’s in control of the situation, he shouldn’t be marking his paper before the exam - if he’s not in control, he shouldn’t be there in the first place.

SUW is a fairly gentle, easy way for the owner to communicate but it's a bizarre way for a Premier League club to operate.
That said, the local and regional press has been very poor in covering United and did very little to properly scrutinise the alleged bids for the club so maybe it makes little difference.

Having a go at Hal and Nick for getting info from the owner seems like people shooting the messenger to me. You can say you think they are too close to the club to be impartial and slag off their content but they're getting something no other media outlet is.

I really don't like how a fan channel and a supporter from Spain are the ones breaking this sort of information but that's not their fault. Obviously it's a 2 way street and they get the views and scoops but it seems like it's either SUW interviewing him or nobody.

There is a reason communication at other clubs isn't done this way but I don't think you can blame a fan channel for getting information and interviews from the owner when nobody else gets them. If you want to have a go at anyone then surely it's The Prince for refusing to work with more traditional outlets.

You can turn that around and say the Prince doesn’t have to go through traditional outlets because these managed outlets exist or allow him to communicate in this way. Remove that option and he has two other options, communicate in a traditional way or don‘t communicate at all and get a load of shit from the fans.

News should always come from the club first. If it comes from a couple of fans on social media then I personally think that it is a major negative and a rather embarrassing state of affairs.

If you'd like to ask any question please pop them on this thread on twitter (or X) and I'll collate them into a list, there might be some repetition and we want the interview to be around 30 mins so if your question doesn't get asked it might be because someone else has already covered the same topic.

Ask him for me please,

If you were stranded on a tropical island but could only take one album with you, what would it be? And, would you be gutted that you didnt bring anything to play it on?

Cheers

In fairness I wasn't referring to you.
That wasn't clear and I have to defend myself.

Nick actually paid for his tickets for Wembley I recall him telling me.
Anyway it shouldn't impact his impartiality any of the opportunities that he's accepted, I also believe that the award ceremony was through a sponsor he's pals with, nothing to do with the ownership. Nick is a Blade who wants the best for the club first and foremost.

I have always assumed that the Prince will not talk to local media because they were all either very close to Wilder or sided with him in 2021 when the Prince fell out with him.

Nick - as a Blade who lives in Huddersfield & so has watched the shitshow with their Chairman/takeover over the last 12 months following their demise, my question for the Prince is….

‘If you are so keen to sell - why have you allegedly set the selling price so unrealistically high at £170m? For me if the sale does not happen early enough to influence the coming season, any potential buyer will not want to pay anything like that if the season progresses and we look like being relegated. In short, I think you have already missed the boat & the true value will drop quickly or you may be here in 2 years time & stuck mid-table in the Championship (or worse). That is what happened at Huddersfield with Dean Hoyle effectively as he had to almost give it away. If you think the fans reaction & stress all this may cause you is bad now - just imagine how you may feel 2 years down the road? Bottom line is that, if you cannot afford to run/fund a Championship or Premier League club - you need to reduce your selling price quickly and move on’

Genuinely don’t know what people expect from the guys??

Obviously they have a relationship and are using it to delve into the club and providing really good insight.

We’ve all decided the Prince is a nobhead for taking all hope away from the season - but he has the right to put his side across

Overall - You’ve literally FUCKING ZERO critical reasoning skills if you think it makes any sense to approach an interview like an internet comments section. They have to be processional and am sure they will still get the bulk of what we want answered across. Give your head a wobble and be grateful for getting any insight at all.

Edit - my question is just does he really think £20m is anywhere close to enough to try and compete with an aging and broadly on 1 year deal remain squad. Where’s the long term plan given we’ve over relied on loans to our detriment with Doyle and mcatee
