Kev was at the game today. I'm sure he'll stick around in some capacity.

It's not Iron man v Cap America, prince knows the price, pay it or fuck off is the deal. I think he'll pay it and bring in uncle rich bastard and make Man City our feeder club.

So it could be KM calling the Princes bluff

The idea being he hasn't the investment and this could be the defining moment of a put up or shut up scenario with KM having "bigger" investors waiting in the wings

Well I hope it aint Steve McClaren's consortium of investors. Apparently, he's been seen at a number of Championship games, Wendy and Leeds to name but two. He's is fronting a consortium of investors with serious cash apparently and he wants an upstairs role, with the investors country of origin remaining a closely guarded secret

Anyone seen the wally with the brolly at any of our games recently?

"I amglad the statement is now out there, thank you Kevin McCabe for all you have done, god bless, thank you Prince Abdullahfor all you have done, good luck for thefuture, UTB"

I am not sure if the quote is accurate taken from an earlier post apparently from Jims Facebook page, but if it is doesn't that sound like they are both leaving and somebody new is coming in ?
That would also tie in with what Chris said at the talk with Kevin about seeing what happens later in the week.
Kev's got a new buyer, triggers the clause knowing the Prince can't afford to buy thus forcing the Prince to sell.

Although i Am probably more like Inspector Cleuseau than Sherlock Holmes.

Seems like i wasn't far off.
Perhaps i am more Sherlock Holmes after all.

Wilders bezzie mate apparently.

Has anyone else considered that the bit in this tweet by Wilder's mate which refers to something happening and 'not sure if it's for the better', could be referring to McCabe taking full control and ousting the Prince, not the other way around? Lots of folk unsure about how well a takeover by the Prince would work out but what if Kev were to regain full control? Would he really have the necessary readies or other investors to properly fund a promotion push? Maybe thrifty Kev staying in charge IS the worst of the two options?

No mate, he was complaining about the prince later on

This is the only way I can see Mcwolly being involved with a club again.

His recent record is utterly appalling, quite why a rich consortium would what his face at the front is beyond me cos it'd scare the fuck out of any potential club.

Have to thought the other way, maybe wit is saying it may not work out for the best because the prince might double bluff and pay up.

The sad thing is it was ever thus.

Just like Robson getting involved in bringing potential 'investors' into new clubs like United. The overseas investors seem a bit starstruck and just lap it up. Same reason why Rowett was sacked at Brum to replace him with Zola's 'star quality'.

Also Jim Phipps, who potentially must be considered ITK stated :

"I am happy to see the statement out there. For me, it's 'Thank you, Kevin, for all you have done' and 'God bless' and 'Thank you, Prince Abdullah, for all you have done' and 'Keep going.' UTB!"

and (alongside a picture of him and the prince posted friday) "Someone in whom I have complete confidence ... UTB"

*Shudder*

Alan Nixon is basically just a marginally more successful version of Maxster and Magic Mike on the bullshit spectrum. The type that will say something that doesn’t transpire to be true, but will double-down on whatever he’s spouted by refencing it in whatever actually happens. Like when Wilder will confirm we’re after someone and his next tweet is “Wilder in talks with Player X after moving on from Player Y” despite the move for the other player never being on the cards. It’s the art of the bullshitter, and fairly easy to spot. Didn’t he say we’d put a bid in for Josh Windass this window just gone?

Hearing a few Russian whispers ?
Anyone else heard that ?

I know he was not everyones cup of tea,but here is my favourite Nazi

Look closely, the hair, the eyes, its Kevin mccabes father.

Has 'Wit' been employed as Wilder's official spokesperson now or something?

I find it hard to believe that he knows exactly what Wilder is doing and with whom at all times.

Even if they're super close absolutely best mates, I don't know what my best mate does all the time, and I don't tell him everywhere I go and every person I see.

Not that I believe Nixon either.

Just weird. If I was Wilder, unless he wants Wit to be some kind of agent and make it obvious he's not happy, I'd be having a word and telling him to fuck off a bit with the tweets.

Well I saw CW and Wit in deep conversation for an hour or two last Wednesday...who knows what they were discussing? :-)
