How many games does he attend ? Didn't he just drop interest before very easily for a nothing job in Saudi ? Has he ever heard of Broomhill ,Broomhall ,Woodseats or Arbourthorne ,will he care , I really fear for my club going down a road I hoped we would never see.
Hrh was ordered by the king of Saudi that he was going to be a Prince in their government ,he had to sell his shares in Saudi paper and do his duty .he is high end Saudi royalty

I now wish it to be clear. None of my posts over recent days along the lines of "despotic, closed, secretive regime" "blood money built on modern day slavery" "random entitled Playboy" should in any way be interpreted as Anti Saudi. Use of #Women2Drive on my Twitter account is also an obvious indication I have been hacked.

I remain committed to seeing this Club move forward, via the 16th Century if necessary.

Got to be serious investment for McCabe to hand over the reigns he has always said he wouldn't hand over to people who couldn't take the club to the next level .
We have to beleave that I he's a man of his word.

I was thinking about this earlier today, oddly enough, and I'm struggling to think of a country that produces billionaires that doesn't have a dodgy human rights record. Some would say the U.S. but they're happy to prop up dodgy regimes and they do business like cunts (I know this from personal experience). In fact many of the worst owners of clubs have been American. So we're pretty much between a rock and a hard place when it comes to getting a rich owner to invest in us.

At least the Prince has been around long enough now to understand some of the pitfalls of being an owner and is less likely to have his pants pulled down than some of the more naive owners that get involved and seems to have a plan with buying this Belgian club. Only time will tell.
It’s sad, but true, but I’m only one notch up from not giving a fuck where the money comes from. I’d let “the authorities” worry about that.

We could in 6-12 months time be solely run by the royal family of Saudi Arabia, a country with a truly appalling human rights record, how can you not be excited?
True, but to be fair, between the Chinese, Russians, Taiwanese and most other foreign football club ownerships, we’d be hard pushed to find a foreign owner who does come from a country with decent human rights records.

They don’t as most football fans don’t as they couldn’t care less. I do however, and it doesn’t really sit comfortably with me.
Fair enough, and to a degree, good on you. I’m (sadly) with most other football fans.

LOL

Hmmm. Muslim aversion to alcohol and a set of fans who are the biggest pissheads in the country. Not too sure how this is going to work out.
That neither of us worry too much what the other is up to.

I don’t support Sheffield Wednesday.

Never said you did, Smirth. I'm just alluding to Toby Foster's amazing hypocrisy when the Prince took over at United but never said a word about the ethics of Wednesday's owner. For all I know, you're a thoroughly decent bloke.

Unlike Foster who's a cunt.

On the Saudi subject, can't say I'm too enthused about being fully owned by the Royal Family of a country who have funded ISIS and the spread of radical Islam across the world to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Not exactly great PR for us.
While they spend bllions keeping thousand of British workers in the arms industry in well paid jobs .

Hate reading people’s “opinion” that either one of McCabe or the Prince aren’t investing and the other is sick of it and arguments are breaking loose etc etc. These are predictions nobody has a scooby about. Not exactly worried for the investment in all honesty right now, it’s Chris Wilder, Alan Knill, Matt Prestridge etc of whom are priority. The statement inclines there won’t be change in management as of now but can’t help but feel this will bring a lot of uncertainty for Chris. It’s made me slightly uneasy because change is a bastard most of the time but we’ll have to wait n see. If it materialises I suppose we have to wait til the first transfer window to get the gist. That’s if the soul of the club hasn’t already been ripped out ala Hull City, Charlton, Coventry.

Rather we turn out like Man City and not Hull City, soon see

The difference being that’s we are part owner by a member of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia. To my knowledge Chansiri is just a Thai citizen.

If we get some realistic investment into the team and it's used well, with Wilder at the helm it should be then hopefully this should be a good move, and with all change this should be cautiously welcomed.
That’s one way it could turn out.

The other of course could be the Prince wants a big name and heads down the Birmingham route.

This is going to happen quickly in my view, just as when the prince was announced, I recon in the next month or so. The prince must have attracted additional investment as I don't think his own wealth would be sufficient to purchase the other 50% and also the freehold. Bring it on.
