Bitter sweet for me.

Love the coverage and accolades we're getting but am shit scared the attention we're getting will see an increased attention on the likes of Coutts, Fleck, O'Connell and most importantly, Sir Tufty.

Now the rest of the world is seeing how freakin' good they all are!!

I know what you mean mate but it's the nature of the best unfortunately. Success brings attention and envy and others want what you have.

We know from experience that keeping hold of top players is always hard, especially in our case but for what it's worth I think Wilder is here for the long term. We are only going one way with him and he will want to see it through.

Look North covered the game this morning... on a quick article about how many arrests had been made. Nothing else.

Just enjoy it!

If we've convinced the pigs, then we can expect everyone in this division to be concerned!

Oh believe me, I'm enjoying every drop. However the Bladey McBlade in me has seen things go tits up too many times to not have that sense of foreboding niggling away.

Ah you're right. Fuck it! Let's party!!

Having to have inferior lager but counter balancing this by drinking copious amounts my good man , had a proper hangover this morning after drinking the liver out of my body yesterday afternoon / night .. its a dirty job but someone's gotta do it ;)

I think we can finally say, without pig fans to dispute it, that we've arrived in the Championship. Not mocking them here, but they have consistently been top 6 for two seasons and we can respect that they were a strong side in the division.

Yesterdays result and performance, linked with our league position after 9 games shows that we're now certainly a team to be wary of. We may get a different approach from some teams. Norwich, to their credit were backs to the wall. Wednesday underestimated us and arrogantly tried to play us at our game. Fuck off Wednesday, stick to the long ball. You can't handle our game.

So i'm not worried about players being snapped up. Fleck on a four year deal. Coutts on fire, the whole squad is loved. Every player steps up and performs. Who would want to get off this train? Its heading up, its not standing still. Bottlers need not apply.

My only concern is how opposition teams will fear us and stick 11 men behind the ball. But we have plans A-Z sorted under Wilder, so its a minor concern.

Lets hope we compete with Wolves

Also loved The Guardian comment about the moment Brooks dominated their so-called defended Hunt....."...he (Brooks) turned Jack Hunt inside out and gave the defender his "Billy Wright trying to tackle Ferenc Puskas' moment...".

We were superb, it doesn't get better than dominating wendy on their own ground, and wearing our home kit too!

I think the biggest impact this victory will have is in the attitude of our opponents for the rest of the season. They will have genuine concerns playing us. We beat Wednesday into submission, forcing errors and putting them on the back foot. It was like a boxing match and it almost doesn't matter how much quality the individual players of any club have; if they don't have the team spirit, drive, determination, belief and momentum that we have, it gives us a major advantage.

We won't rack up 100 points and steam-roll the league, we will drop plenty of points throughout the season, but right now, on an individual game basis, I would back us against any team in England.

*edit: I was going to reference the Wolves fan quote when I started this post - thanks Kenilworth :D
