Predict the crowd for tonight. How low will it go?

5648.

I'm not going, this cup is crap, I've zero interest in it. Maybe if I didn't have a family I'd go but....nah it's a nothing game in my head. Chance to blood some youngsters, get Norwood introduced to the team/squad/surroundings etc, etc, but as a valued match in our season. nah, sorry. I'll save my pass out for Saturday

18 - SU players
18 - Hull players
8 ish - SU pitchside staff
8 ish - Hull pitchside staff
1 - ref
2 - lines people
1 - guy with a board
1 - Duffys wife
1 - Woodburn mum
1 - "Oreyt"
14 - students trying to pull a pint

So I am going for 73

Edit - removed sharps wife because 1973blade said she wasn't coming :)

I don't think Sharp will play so you can deduct his wife from the crowd.

I wonder if a study has been carried out into the cost/effectiveness of filling the ground with freebies to schoolkids for matches like this? Might end up making a loss on the night but maybe 1 match a season with this policy could be a decent strategy to maintain a more healthy fanbase year on year. Given the apparent disarray across the city at the moment and their seemingly determined attitude to fleece fans for every penny, I think we should be grabbing every straw going to paint the city as red as possible.

Great idea. What losses would there be? I guess extra staff required but that’d be about it? Easy make that back on sales at the bar

There should be an army of free ticket children on John Street.

Non season ticket holders shouldn't have to pay £12.

You should be able to buy at least 3 tickets per customer number online.

There should be a number of ticket booths around the ground where you can pay on the day without queuing in the car park. No reason why not for a game like this.

But...... no.

So we'll probably get something like 6-7k.
