This is not new though.

We've been playing safe for a while and the irony we've had some success with it.
In away matches we've played quite similar to how Luton played against us.
Keep things defensive tight, score a goal, then keep numbers back, holding on to the 1-0 lead.
I believe Hecky has taken a pragmatic approach where the results are more important than the performances.
So he's very happy if we play poorly but pinch a 1-0 win.
Towards the end of the season this attitude is fine but as we've had this mentality since Xmas, it's coming back to bite us.
Instead of playing free flowing attacking football, it's as though the players are over focussed on the result and set out to try to win 1-0 every match.

My point is, if we are playing too safe.
Then as we've been doing this for several matches, why is there no evidence of any change to date.?

Much more energy in that team and like to see Bogle given the opportunity to play further forward with Baldock to do the defensive work and both working as as a triangle with Anel overlapping creating space for Bogle or Balders to get to the by line/cut inside teeing up Doyle, Mac or Illy to purrit int onion bag.Ozzy doing similar ont left.
