I know it all depends on what league you’ll be playing in and it’s the same for most clubs but I wish they’d give you at least dates to go on. I’ve never been abroad with the blades and having to wait until possibly the first weeks in June to book something for 4/5 weeks later puts me right off.

Just my rant for the day. Weathers got me in a mood.

How can you expect clubs to give a date, location and times for games that haven't even been planned yet?

It also depends what division we will be in and what division the teams we play will be in next year.

Still, it's all the club's fault as usual. Probably all down to McCabe actually.

Now I never said it was just us. I fully understand the whole what league we’re in etc, I just think clubs could maybe make fans aware of dates a little further in advance. If we do get promoted then we’re likely to face better foreign opposition naturally.

You seem to be upset that the club hasn't invested sufficiently in the power of divinity and/or an adequate time machine, in order that you personally may more adequately plan some part of your summer holidays. As 1st world problems go, that's an absolute fucking belter. Don't worry, the citizens of Mosul and Raqqa are putting aside some time from rebuilding their cities and burying their dead to hold a vigil.
Jesus wept.

If you want to experience a touch of Blades you could book up for the u21s in Italy / San Marino this June to watch Hendo

I am incensed by this blatant lack of forward planning.

I'm so apoplectic that all I can say is ...................................Wilder out!!

surely when we get promoted then it is pre season tour of the far east or America like all the premier league teams do

Here's what I am doing. I offer this in case it helps anyone else. The three pre season trips under Wilder have all followed the same basic model. Play one non-league game in early July, then depart straight away for what is very much a training camp week away (rather than a set of exhibition games away). Because that will be incredibly early for foreign teams in their pre season, we have to play who we can, where we can - a made up team of non-professionals (La Manga), Malaga in a forest, Maritimo on a council pitch two hours flight from their home ground.

Following that model, Utd would fly somewhere on 7 July.....

Id prefer a rock concert to a vigil, hate vigil, think he’s been shite for the red scousers.

Well Stocksbridge is a different planet let alone different country, and you can bet your life we'll be going there again

Great trip last time the team went there
Held back in the ground for hours and then shipped us out in busses escorted by riot police.
It was still a great trip. We did miss the Den Haag game though.

Den Haag was the opposite. Dutch Plod rushed us into buses parked behind the away end & tried to get us to the station & away before the Den Haag lot could get down there.

Sparta was great. Loads of Blades( about 2000?). Free entry to the museum at the groun. Football match outside before hand, constant singing from both sets of fans. Akinbadbuy sent off.Ended 1-1 I think

Ado Den Haag was a bit different. Reputation for trouble. Tram ride to the ground was a bit interesting !!!, about 200-300 Blades I reckon ?. Atmosphere subdued . Ended 2-2 .A moat in front of the away end Again buses used to get us aware from the ground. Found a nice Italian restaurant round the corner from the Novotel in the city centre after the game. They have a new ground now

Stayed in Rotterdam then moved on to Den Haag. Both great places to visit( with a little trip to Amsterdam in between the games for the 'sights' :) )

Really hope we go there again

It all depends on Brexit. Out and its Matlock, Tideswell and somewhere in Scotland. People's Vote, remain and It's PSG, Real Madrid and a pointless cup competition in Thailand.
