I'm liking the look of Jack Robinson tbh. Solid, good with his feet, gets forward.

He's put some reyt muscle on too since we signed him, £500k you can't complain for a solid Prem backup.

He occasionally has a brain fart and plays a poor ball from defence into the middle though, needs to stop that. JOC's passes don't always get to their target but they're usually deeper and lofted so they opposition can't just immediately come at us.

McBurnie and Sharp are on their heels far too much. Showing zero anticipation at times and we consistently lose it when it's played into them.

They’re not a good partnership, couldn’t be further away from each other if they tried, should be playing off each other.

I know we don't have our full team playing, but damn, we can't produce any offence what so ever.

If we could find a striker or number 10, that was the level above what we had now then we would be so much better going forward.

Thats not a criticism of our current players. But we are just one special forward away from next level stuff.

So;

Injured - JOC

International duty; Ramsdale, Egan, Stevens, Fleck, Berge, McGoldrick

All 7 nailed on starters v Wolves.

Why or why after everything that has gone on, did they schedule international games this week?!
Because we played all the games to finish off last season and Internationals are organised by different bodies from those that organise league competitions.

Just tuned in is Jack OC on the bench ?

I think he’s been one of the better players since the opening 3 games of the restart, when he was alongside plenty of teammates having off days. His critics seem to have focused on just those games, when in addition to adjusting to this level he was still getting familiar with all aspects of the role. He’s been adding to that with every appearance – he’s been getting forward much more now and looks more comfortable doing so, and looks far happier to try a shot. I like him.

Our left side is suddenly very strong

O’Connell Robinson
Stevens Bryan
Fleck Osborn

need to replicate that on the right

Can see the rust a bit with lunny and mcburnie, good finish BTW. As people have said though, Bryan looks decent at Lwb again.

Between enda, Osborn and now the way Bryan is playing I think that’s one position it suddenly looks like we don’t need to recruit
