Not one of us is less than a mongrel of lots of difference cultural backgrounds. There isn't a pure bred "Briton" in the whole country. Would be a very vary small (non existent) pool of players to pick from if that condition applied.

However, how come the Saxons settled in East Anglia? That region not named after the Angles? Seems a bit obtuse to me.

As a side note I have to say I was (probably naively) surprised by the racism on that forum. I've not included any here but there are a couple of threads on the England game where comments such as "too many ethnics in the team" and "I stopped watching when Viv Anderson played" go unchallenged

Doesnt surprise me, i always say in all football in the minority that spoil it for the majority. But in millwall case it was always Majority that spoil it for the minority. Because its like all the idiots at every football clubs go to millwall

interestingly, at the bottom of Roygbiv's blog, I found the link to the Pre Match View from Millwall back in August and it was such a contrasting read considering how things have gone since. However this one comment stood out...

It's not the majority though. Nowhere near. A larger minority percentage wise to fanbase but tarring the majority as hooligans is unfair and totally unrealistic.
