Before this season we hadn't beaten Bolton in a league game at their place since 1969 and we'd never scored 4 at Swillsboro.

I think the last time we'd beat Sunderland at their place was 1-0 in 1991 during our great escape. Wilder might have even played in that game.

Apart from the very last comment, I am struggling to see anyone who is actually confident they're going to beat us. They might not know what we're about (why should they, they never saw us last season probably) but I don't think they are being over optimistic about the outcome.

It's a bizarre mix of knowing that they're crap, but also somehow thinking that we are overrated too, and being completely ignorant about why we have got the results we have.
