They have a -2 GD and conceded 51 so far. I hope that kind of stat continues Tuesday and we can outscore them. They owe their keeper for drawing at home on Saturday.
Next cup final tomorrow night.

I like this one

“The clubs could have moved it if they had wished. But obviously, our Northern cousins don’t believe in Valentines as they are coming here instead. Watch the divorce rate up there next week.”

Forget valentines frigging Day. If it had fallen on a Saturday there would be a lot more going. Who with a proper job can get to Bristol on a Tuesday night?

Was going to say them as works for the council, but thought better of it.

Must say I was impressed by Rovers when we played them at the Lane even though they lost. Never really pushed on since then but still commanding a decent spot in League One. Tough fixture but one we ought to be capable of winning.

They seem to be very positive in their comments, and considering where they've been in the last 2 or 3 years it's understandable...I see it as another tough game, but no reason we can't get a result...hopefully all 3 points.
Forgot about Bob Harris now being with the Gas..I liked him at the Lane, but hopefully he'll have a mare Tuesday night.

Seem to remember several views from, including Peterborough saying "They had a good feeling about this one". That turned out well didn't it!

We don't under estimate them, but we went to Southend who had a similar record and got the result, so here is hoping.

I like them. Seem a very decent bunch and kudos for calling us "Sheffield United"

It almost seems a shame to take points off them

Bristolians are a pretty good bunch to be fair, if I had my way they would go up along with us

I have been prattling on all season, on here and to anyone who will listen, about how good Bristol Rovers are. In my opinion they are a good side that are underachieving at the moment. I really thought they would be in the mix. Of course, they have lost their most influential player, but I do think this will be a tough test. If we win this and get at least 2 points from the 2 next games then I think it is our year. They tend to defend in lines, backing off then stopping on the 6 yd box. Crosses into the box will not, IMO, bring goals? Pull backs, like Hanson's goal, will. Midfielders will need to have their shooting boots on. If they do, we should win. I'm sure Wilder will have a plan. He seems to do his homework. Well Knill does at least. Whilst I'm here, I would just like to say how good Knill is. Now, he does do a lot of unseen and under appreciated work.

Always liked Bristol Rovers, loyal fans who brought a decent following to The Lane earlier this season

I forgive them for charging across the pitch at us at the end of The Watney Cup final 1972 and having a good old seventies style ruck (We lost on a penalty shoot-out)

NB Thanks Roy

Everyone is confident against us for some reason!
We aren't going to wake up soon and realise Badkins is still here and we are looking at the league table upside down are we?

Depends where you live ;)
Also, if you can persuade your better half to go with you ;) ;)

I thought They were one of the better teams to come to BDTBL. They had a loanee midfielder who had an excellent game - they took him off after an hour or so which I was glad of. Can't remember his name but I would be pleased if he had returned to his parent team.

Hiram Boateng, who was on loan from Palace.

It's a fooking long walk from the 3 Tuns or the Steam Crane to the Rovers ground, you must be thinking of going to Ashton Gate ......plus I'd have to pass the Rovers ground to get to them! The Wellington or The Annex for me I reckon

Seriously AB , enjoy your self tomorrow ,
maybe I was thinking of next season ;)

Wanted records, Rise records, Anchor, Bag o' nails, avoided Mrytle tree, one on right that used to be owned by Arbor, no 1 harbourside, three fishermen, bank tavern then onto the Urban Tandoor and Seven Stars..

Bristol ale good stuff but didn't want to push it on the day before a match day, plus our lass wants a few before I head off to the Match. Bristol pre match view looking good from here.

Confident bunch aren't they?

I actually quite like Bristol Rovers always back them if the Bristol derby is ever on TV.

Would be happy with a point, delighted with a win
