As always, if you watch the SUFC ones on the club website, you'll need to log in. I'll upload Bristol City's presser vid and SUFC YouTube clips as and when the clubs post them, but if you find something before me, please add it to the thread.

Wilder is live on Monday at 0900. Link below 👇

I will do some notes once I've seen it, but that will likely be in the evening as I am in the hospital for a post-op follow-up from 0830-1600 🤮

I’ll also echo the same sentiments and hope everything is going well but with conditions, get the fcking recap done quick, us idle bleeders cant waste all our time listening to wilder when you can spend your valuable time writing it up for us to peruse at our leisure. No really hope your on the mend and your recaps are brilliant

Watched it but couldn’t take notes. In terms of Injuries and Absences, from memory only

  • RND has had an operation on his groin. Will miss rest of season but shouldn’t impact preseason
  • Blaster is going really well on and off the field. Will definitely not play again this season, regardless of whether he wants to. He will be ready for preseason. Maybe not the very first session, but his injury will not impact his prep for next season
  • Tom Davies will not be ready until after the international break (Coventry)
  • Gilchrist and Clarke have both been away with their parent clubs being assessed and treated. Both are back with us and are a chance for Sunday, but not tomorrow
  • No direct questioning on Vini and Gus as to their fitness. I got the feeling the line of questioning about rotation was pre-agreed so as not to have a direct “are they OK” question. I’m not convinced Vini will feature in the squad tomorrow. An absence will make me worried about him for Sunday, too, of course.

I will post the presser replay soon. It’s the first question, so you can watch and make your own minds up about whether to read between lines. I may be being over sensitive given the upcoming games

Thanks Cappy, when questioned in the PNE after match interview Wilder said that we were managing minutes with Gus and that Souza felt his hamstring. He was effusive in his praise for Choudhury when he moved to the centre of the park.

My guess is Souza is definitely saved for the Pig match and that Gus may start on the bench. I expect Peck and Choudhury in central midfield with Femi starting at right back and JRS starting instead of Gus. This really shows the strength of our squad that even with Gus and Vini our we have a strong looking first 11.

Ps i have a sneaky feeling Moore may start too to rest Tyrese for Sunday.

That mad contract award to RND.. wow.

Gus and Vinni at best on the bench tomorrow only to be risked if things aren’t going well I would guess

Holding at CB and Anel at RB possibly?

My impression is that Wilder is saving Souza and Hamer for Sunday.

What a great job whoever the manager is has done there, I think he's fantastic. It will be a very difficult game, and any win will do

Didn't re-watch and do notes from Wilder's presser last night. I was knackered, semi-grumpy from being violated all day, plus needed to prep for going back at work

There is no mention of a Bristol City presser anywhere on social media, or on media outlets, so I can only assume they don't do one for some midweek away games. I'd have thought it extremely unlikely it would be today

UTB

That's from straight after their game v Hull but it's still useful, thanks! I wonder why some teams don't bother. I know Hecky used to like to do some midweek game pre-match pressers as part of the previous weekend's post-math presser, but it does sell the fans a bit short.

Oops, yep ur right! Looks like Manning lost his voice during their last game so that might have something to do with it

I thought the pressers were mandatory? Or is that only in the Premier League?

Definitely mandatory in the Prem, with strict time schedules for them. I don’t know the exact rules in the EFL but I notice many midweek games don’t have pressers. All weekend games do though

Given the happenings on Saturday and we’re at home, I don’t see why we can’t go on the front foot.

No point risking Souza. Provided Seriki is fit to start, then Choudhury showed he can deputise for Souza at this level quite competently.

No point risking Hamer. Brereton-Diaz is better on the left. Rak-Sakyi is still a good option on the right. Perhaps these two out wide with O’Hare behind the striker?

I’m wondering if he might lighten Campbell’s load by starting Cannon and having Campbell make a shorter cameo with a view to starting on Sunday.

Otherwise the consideration is do you risk Anel getting booked when you have Holding in the wings?

I imagine Campbell won't start and it'll be Cannon. Although personally I'd go for Moore.
