It wasn't us - NC already had them on his radar for Derby.

I repeat, just shows our scouting network is non league standard.
Compare it to Walsall and then come all billy BB if you can justify it.

Look at how many players have come in and look at our league position - then look at the long, long list of dross we are looking to off load - then consider how excited you are to see Woolford, Sammon, Hammond, and Edgar - and you'll find your answer.

I'm excited by Billy Sharp but take your point about the others.

I also watch the occasional under 18 s game and in my opinion they or most could not step up to the under 21s as they are not physically strong enough or good enough (maybe 1 or 2 could step up) .Where would we fill the under 21s from?.I leave the said IT'K s with that question.

The article on the 'Boys Club' thread suggests your right about the U18s looking young and small but it seems to be club policy, a new way of thinking that we are leading the game with, so much so that the FA have asked us to present the theory behind to the other clubs in the FA.

I think Paling was released last summer and signed for Alfreton. Perhaps they've let him go.
