Can’t blame wilder tonight the team dominated, just didn’t put them away, that’s down to the individuals

I don't disagree, but a change in personnel was needed in the last 15-20 mins if not before. Bringing 1 new signing on doesn't cut it.
I love Chris Wilder, but he fucked up tonight, there's no way round it.

Two negatives, both about football in general - trying to take emotions out of it.

1] The sending off wasn't even a booking, the game is becoming sterile because of it. Too many tackles are now shown unnecessary yellows.

2] The Wednesday player got in front of Clarke and his interception went to the goalie, Clarke was off side but the flag didn't go up. Could have been an own goal, would the flag have gone up then? Doubt it?
Hate it how a player is not interfering with play until he actually touches the ball. Daft rule.

EDIT

To back up the case for two being daft, watching the 3-2 game on SKY and if Henderson had been stood offside when the Wednesday player gloriously scored for us would the flag have gone up? Again doubt it as Henderson didn't become active.

There's no positives. Basham was fucking dire and Wilder watched a lacklustre display and let it happen.

I don't always agree with you but on this occasion you are correct! Wilder not hiding on Radio S, saying we should be beating teams like this. But he needs to make better decisions with subs & the make up of the team. At least he's not saying we were unlucky - sounds a bit miffed!

He's starting to come up against teams that are stopping us playing & he's reaching his current ceiling. He needs to push on himself & look at how we set up against teams that don't come out & play.

I was a but underwhelmed by Wilson when he came on. But in the last 10 minutes he got involved a few times by dropping deep and then trying to be direct and going for goal from the edge of the box. Now if the can do lots more if that and work hard as well... We might be on to something against these bus parking teams.

I agree I wanted to see another change at least but I don’t know enough of the new lads to say they would’ve been the answer and as much as I love billy I’m not sure what he’d have brought that was different to what we’d had
