Positives:

1) Only one Sheffield team lost a derby game this season and it wasn’t us

2) Clean sheet

3) In the play offs

4) They parked the bus we didn’t

5) Ross Wallace doesn’t play for us

Negatives

1) We still managed to give them a few sniffs by standing off

2) It was a poor game

3) Wednesday’s style of football

4) Clarke, Duffy, Lundstram and Fleck were all far too quiet

5) Tango got on TV and my eyes hurt as a result

There's no positives. Basham was fucking dire and Wilder watched a lacklustre display and let it happen.

Fucking pathetic.

I'm sure some apologist arsehole will come along and say it's "graaate" though.
should have brought bill on it was scripted for him

Not me. For the first time, Wilder looked to not lose than win, which normally drives me nuts. Tonight tho, Billy should have come on with ten to go.

Fair result in the end. They came for a draw & got it. We weren’t good enough to break them down.

Felt like taking Donaldson off instead of Clarke was the wrong choice.

Duffy looked knackered at the end & struggled to get into the game. They did a good job on him tonight to be fair.

We went long far too often, but I think that was just because of how they set up against us.

I feel like we’re carrying Basham at the minute. He’s steady defensively & going forward, but isn’t great at either IMO. If we’re looking to progress I think that’s an area we can improve in.

Edit: I also feel like we need a proper hard bastard of a centre half. Too often we just stand & watch their forward with the ball at his feet. We don’t have anyone to fucking cement them into the pitch.

Positive
- they are poor enough to go down
- Lundstram was unreal.
- sat in BLUT for first time and I’ll be back Ricky

Negatives
- it was impotent. That is the word

We needed Brooks tonight. Or Holmes.

Agreed. Too many square balls. Why oh why no one other than Fleck ran at them, particularly in the second half when they were on yellows and a man down...

Thought we were dire - far too slow and ponderous. Will play, and have played, so much better in other games.

One positive aside from not losing - Fleck not getting injured from Wallace's challenge, overstepped the mark.

Lots of sideways movement - let's get the ball in and play to Leon. Looked like the game was crying out for Leonard and I think Billy must be miffed at Wilson getting on. Wilder has some managing to do!

Not sure why you’ve picked out bash and to say there were no positives I think is a big of an overreaction, yes it was frustrating and the quality in the final ball and finishing was piss poor but we dominated play, kept a clean sheet and Just watched the massive park the bus to get a point, I’d have taken that 1 year ago

Positives:
big one is we don’t have a manager who set up like they did. How dull.
Clean sheet

Negatives:
Need to work out how to break these teams down, these teams being the ones facing relegation and counting a draw away to the mighty blades as a good result

We needed someone to run at them I felt, just like Fleck first half to draw the foul. We weren’t going to pass through them and with so many back crosses in to the box weren’t going to work.

Stevens had a game of two halves I felt, decent first half but very poor second half. Bash wasn’t great, but who replaces him, time for CCV to step back in?

Duffy puffed and panted and had some good moves, but definitely tired and maybe should’ve been brought off.

Truffle Botherers look like a team well set up to avoid relegation. How their expectations have dropped.

Stevens wasn’t bad but was frustrating to see him constantly trying to buy free kicks

Absolutely fuming Billy wasn’t subbed on

A point off them, I’ll take, didn’t deserve much with how poor our decision making in final third was

But that decision I can’t understand, very not happy

Thought it was a simple one. He went with Wilson due to pace I’d say not his fault he got no service. As for Clark I though he was poor but he was still putting himself about in a way Billy couldn’t. With the benefit of hindsight Wilder would probably have put Sharp on instead of Wilson but it’s irrelevant because you can’t go back in time and putting strikers on doesn’t solve the dire service they were recieving

We desperately need to find a way to break down limited but determined teams. We look clueless at times. The final ball is really poor and nobody seems capable of going past a player without Brooks.

I thought we would struggle today as I thought Wednesday would set up like that. It's no surprise we are doing better against the likes of Wolves, Derby and Bristol (yeah we lost but we hammered them) yet struggling against the teams down the bottom. If we don't get an early goal in these games we give the opposition confidence and we run out of ideas quite quickly

Positives:
A terrific transfer window.
And didn’t lose to the unclean this season although they fully expected our pub team to collapse!

Negatives:
when *massives* down to 10 men, playing only one up top do we remain in same formation and not put the emphasis on to them?
Stick Sharp and Evans on leaving 3 up top.
As much i I respect CW & AK I think they’ll regret tonight- missed an opportunity

There were plenty of chances where it just needed someone like Billy on the end of it, natural goal scorer, poaching ability, always in right place, if he’d been on pitch from start he’d have bagged

Not to mention there’s no game he’s ever gonna be more up for

Worth noting their fans are saying it's their best performance of the season so things could be a lot worse.

Disappointing we have 2 decent wingbacks we get so few crosses in and the majority are poor

He can't cross for shit and stifled every attacking move.

Wilders utter inactivity failed to beat a 10 man reserve team. I don't care about what came before, in the here and now we are simply not good enough.

We didn't need to park the bus to get 4 points.
We don't carry dirty players like the classless filth.

Can’t blame wilder tonight the team dominated, just didn’t put them away, that’s down to the individuals

Negatives

Poor decision making around the opposition box

Delivery from out wide was rank, from Baldock, Stevens and Basham

Front two were poor.

Positives

Stearman and JOC were class.

Moore is a good keeper.

Fleck and Duffy whilst not at their best we’re better than anything Wednesday had.

We can still enjoy watching the bouncing day video for the next six months or so with the bragging rights.
