An old mate Jamie Taylor used to play for the u18s in the early 90s, he was the lad who signed for us on the United series. Anyway he lived a crosspool and his fam had 2 cars, all taxed and insured..I was from Burngreave and to me he was posh 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I fink wiv us being Norverners we mistake "well spoken" for "posh", listen to Lampard he's well spoken.

Tony Agana owned a saxophone. That's pretty posh in my book. I didn't say he played it - based on memories of United series.

Speaking of which, how posh was Stancliffe ?? His Mrs worked on a make-up counter in Meadowhall (or Rotherham) - either way, from where we grew up in Birdwell - intimidating all the sports teams that came from Sheffield (according to Shoutbox last week 😳)

Maybe Jack Almond who played in the 1899 FA Cup final. He was one of the scorers in the 4-1 win against Derby.

Almond was the son of a wealthy Yorkshire brewer and was reported to have inherited between £6,000 and £12,000 when his father died in 1897 - a huge sum of money for the time.

For anyone wondering, that's ~£800k - £1.6m in today's money.
