I was disappointed to see us hire Adams in the first place, he struck me as a very one dimensional old-fashioned manager. The couple of matches I went to in his reign surprised me to some extent, though. We attacked and played decent football, just couldn't defend.
Ultimately I'm not sad to see him go. I don't think he's a bad manager, but he's limited. I also found his interviews frustrating - he doesn't articulate himself well and speaks mainly in clichés, and his 'im an honest guy' tone eventually became a tad transparent. That said, he wasn't an unlikeable guy and despite being a little over-keen to present himself so, he did genuinely come across as honest and fully committed. I think to not wish him well on account of the job he tried to do and the players he signed is a little bloody minded.
