After six years we are back in the second division - Championship - whatever it's called. The bubble is the team performing like a capable Championship side. There was a big question mark over whether that would be possible, so to see us competing as if we've just dropped down from the Prem, rather than come up from League 1, is the bubble that is a long, long way from popping.

That question doesn’t arise in this case. It’s how we deal with knee-jerk bollocks. Pathetic or Pig? I’m not sure, but realistically it’s one or the other.

Of course the proposition fails at the outset. There hasn’t been a bubble. Our many superb victories have been punctuated by several defeats along the way.

A game we dominated, they have one real effort on goal and score. A carbon copy of Fulhams third goal coming from the same position where their player is not closed down. We are missing Freeman/Baldock and Coutts. 1st half we played painfully slow but were better after they scored and for all of the 2nd half. The trouble is we are a bit shot shy and sometimes over do getting into a position to put in the perfect cross when sometimes it is better just to whip the cross in early.

That's exactly how I see it. And did you notice that it all comes down our left, via Stevens, O'Connell, Fleck and Duffy? There's nothing happening on the right flank at all. Basham tries hard but he didn't have one of his better games - he's not a winger FFS anyway - but he does his best. Behind him you've got CCV - who rarely ventures out of his own half. And somewhere over that side was Billy Sharp - although what he was doing exactly I really don't know, because he wasn't in the game at all.

Baldock will add some pace and attacking prowess to that right hand side. But it's time for Brooks to get a start imo. And the obvious person to make way based on recent performances is Sharp.
