There it goes, surprised it took so long really, at least we won't (shouldn't) go down.

I just watched the second half on telly , having been at work until 6. It seemed that apart from a couple of breaks here and there, it was all us. We keep playing like that and we’ll start winning again. There were games last season where other teams camped in their half and we struggled to get in the box. It happens but I’m not too worried about the rest of the season.

Given the pre season expectations, no bubble has burst at all.

Pig mentality. Fuck off.
From your response, can I take it you're happy tonight?

Thought not - you fuck off and fhink hard about how you deal with realistic comments from fellow blades.

Over reaction.
Dominated from start to finish. They had ONE shot and scored. We were all over them. On another day could have had half a dozen.

We are STILL third, we have beaten the Pigs and Dirties away. We are outstanding.

Lets not fucking meltdown cos we fucking drew.

Imagine there's a fair bit of shit not being kept together tonight.

I don't think many people will still think of this game as the bubble bursting, tomorrow.

Context: Birmingham were play off contenders last season until their new owners dropped a bollock and appointed a total joke as manager. They then spent millions in the summer on a handful of proven Championship players. We have played them off the park tonight and only failed to win due to a wonder goal (their only shot on target), a poor miss from Leon, and a good save from their keeper. If our final pass had been a bit better we would have scored a hatful. I reckon we're doing alright.

We played ok. Not brilliant but we look everything a Championship side which is all we wanted at the start of the season
This has been beyond expectations Roy so far, loving it

Now then a new BBC tv series wiv tufty as Mr Darcy...beyond expectations.....

ohhh tufty walking out the pond.....

One of those games where every result was possible. We battered them all over but couldn't make possession count. Don't get why you are so pessimistic and coming on here to piss on everyone's chips.

That was the whole game

It's popped in terms of teams not being able to play agsinst out style. Match our formation and quick counter.

Chris did well to see it and change it with the subs but leaves us short up top then.

I knew Coutts would be a huge loss. Not just in midfield but in terms of the way we move the ball. Lundstram is doing ok but he's not got the speed of thought, mind or actual speed. His ball retention needs to be better as well. Too many high risk passes.

The defence has less protection as well. Limp through to January.

I'm not particularly happy with this result, but am pleased that we at least got one point from a losing position.

I can understand that on the face of it this is a very poor result, but I'll reproduce what I've posted on another thread. If you look at where Birmingham have got their points from they seem to do considerably better against the better (or higher placed sides).

They have so far played 5 of the current top 6 and not lost against any of them. All their points except one have come from sides currently placed 11th or higher.

Their only point from a bottom half side was against Bolton. They have lost all of their other 8 games against bottom half sides, but have lost only 3 of their 10 matches against top half sides.

This point may not be quite such a poor result as it seems.

Burst bubble? We're exceeding all expectations.

We also have 3 highly winnable games coming up before we go to Villa for a massive game.

We were all over them tonight, don't worry.
I was told by numerous Blades we had two 'totally winnable 6 points in the bag' home games coming up last week.??

There it goes, surprised it took so long really, at least we won't (shouldn't) go down.

Serial moaner comes on following two disappointing home results that could easily have been two wins to totally write our season off. Bet you couldn't wait to post this, must have got a bit worried when we equalised though.

I think we have been worked out a bit to be fair and we definitely miss Paul Coutts.

What happens next depends on whether the board/CW want to have an entertaining year of gung ho football or make a serious push for promotion. You couldn't blame them if they just let things go as they are this year

ya can't do owt against long shots...ala jags, vas brobokis etc, if you just hit one from afar and it's on target, nowt ya can do about it..still on course, we have just lost one and drawn one out of how many we have won since the start of the season, before this season started many people were saying we would be at the bottom of the table or thereabouts, we would get thumped at the bouncing rust bucket....my worry is how long can the players keep this level of attacking atrocity up...
