I think we need a poll to decide what price we should force HRH to sell for.

Then we could go to Rightmove and see if they have any buyers.

Which one is it that tells you how much it went for previously?

2020 £5m
2013.£1

If he cannot sell the club from the end of last season with the promise of huge financial payments, huge global exposure ,”competing “ in the best league in the world, loyal fan base, big ish city and reasonable players wages , he is not a serious seller. He’s taking his car to We buy any car.com thinking it’s worth much more than it’s really worth.
It’s now biting his arse because of the mistakes (again) he made post season and this pre season. Buy cheap, run it cheap and ultimately you will fail.

You are not quoting United's figures that are only known by the prince and a few employed by the Blades. For a start, he sold Ndiaye and Berge. bought some players cheap for the premier league and mostly loans.tv money etc what happened to that?.they only Anel that's worth good money. He has admitted he can't afford to put any more money into the club.

£ 124 million is hardly cheap though.

It is in todays premiership standards. And what do we have in resale money, because I can’t think of anyone who we will have to sell after relegation to keep us floating. Southampton,Leeds,Leicester all made big sales,we haven’t got that to fall back on.
The Prince gambled and failed.

Anel would have gone if we had been offered any money. At the moment he wouldn’t get a game at Colchester with his form.

The figures l quoted are from United accounts 2020, 2021 and 2022 which are on the official site for all to see. It’s shows where the money has gone and why we are struggling financially now. Because of earlier years spending

2023 accounts will no doubt show a loss - like every other championship season and we still had to pay instalments on players, we have some historical debt from when turnover was over £115-130m when our turnover was halved due to relegation. Although we have over £100m again this season, a tranche of it is still repaying old debts. That’s why recruitment has been poor. I’m pissed off with how our owner basically wrote off this season before it started. This isn’t the first time l’ve said this. I also don’t see our current strategy giving rise to a strong promotion push next season.

How many clubs have spent £124 million in five years and barely got an asset they can sell for decent money, never mind a profit

Sean. I now understand where you coming from I admit I did have no clue whatever, thanks for correcting me. we all agree we are in a fix. I can't see a promotion season 2024/25 unless a miracle happens.

I’ve not seen the accounts (and i probably wouldn’t understand them) or your other posts that explain them.

Could you possibly summarise in laymen’s terms if the Prince is being a greedy bastard or if he’s just mismanaged the limited funds he had and now skint?

My understanding (feel free to correct me) is that he has put in a healthy amount for transfer fees over the years and now the funds have dried up and we are stuck with our squad of misfits. From my understanding he’s not made money from his owning us?

Is that correct or am I miles off?

Putting the hotel on the map again and investing in a category 1 academy seems to be his plan for the near future.
Letting contracts run out must also be part of his plan! Players playing better in the final year is a myth in my opinion as this season is proving.
The option to keep who we think will cut it in championship next season is the main reason for me.
Attempts were made to keep Ndiah and Berge long before the contracts ran out! It's obvious they intended to move on, a last ditch attempt to keep Ndiah nearly paid off.
