Tough teams, I looked at how many points I expect from each team and came up with 55 which would have seen us finish 16th/17th last season, realistically what would you expect?

Who knows, depends how the other teams strengthen or otherwise in the closed season. One thing I do know is that we are in the best hands we could possibly be and I for one feel more optimistic than I have for quite a while. Thanks Chris and your team, you've made me very happy.

i bet he didnt

No, you're right. I made it up. He actually said he was really anxious that we would get battered every week by pretty mediocre outfits. He noticed the Hull, Boro and Sunderland results today and that terrified him. He then briefly touched the rim of his trilby and went all deferential.

His vocal chords then went into nervous shock and he's been unable to speak ever since.

60. We'll flirt with the bottom 4 places at times, but in the end we'll be comfortably mid table. 10% of those points will come from our six-fingered cousin marrying rivals from Pittsmoor, of course.

You made that up as well didnt you ?

65 points, (above the porcine) mid table comfort, get the measure of the league then push on season after next. In lord tufty we trust

I'm not going to go for a points prediction this year .
Although I was bang on the money when I predicted 100 points last season and to go up as champions .
O alright then 67 points a top ten finish and be above pigs at end of season .

101 in 17/18 to bring Tufty's 3 year average to 100. No problem.

Trouble is, if Tufty goes 99, 100, 101 then continuing the sequence in our first 38 game Prem season in 18/19 will set us a pretty challenging target of 102!!

Actually, I'll settle for 3 points from game 1, and then I'll think about game 2.

By Christmas, give or take a couple

If Ched repeats his form of 5 seasons ago could be a very high total. Even without that we should get close to the top 8 with the momentum and drive we go into it with. CW will be relentless in going for wins.

2 point a game average and finish on 92 points, I am not sure we have the team yet to do it but Wilder is working on that, Personally will be happy if we stay in the champ and push on in the next few years after re-establishing our self's, but I am not so sure that's how Chris Wilder works :)

Are you sure he didn't just say "Two pints today please and can we have a pot of single cream tomorrow".

Only in S2, do the anti-hoofers dream they have meaningful exchanges with CW.

I would say mid 60's, but i do feel that if we stop the leaks at the back we could be a big handful for most teams.
