Do not drag perceptions of our club and supporters into the gutter by exhibiting similar acts of loutish and drunken behavior that has been evident in recent away matches.

Detractors and the media will be waiting to show us in our worst light. Let us be smart and vigilant in stopping or pointing out culprits.

The hardest part about the final games of the season is trying to find a decent pair of trainers that are suitable for both invading the pitch and evading the police. Anybody got any advice?

Also, my nautical flare gun is a pretty old model. I could probably hit a steward or the opposition goalkeeper from where I'm sat but there's no chance of reaching the home fans. Do you reckon that outdoor specialist stores like Blacks or Millets might sell a decent one?

Oh and one more question, will I get into more trouble if I'm caught with weapons in the stadium or drugs? I kinda want to bring both but I'm not sure how tight the security will be?

You could always use your coke spoon AS a weapon, ever thought of that?

Nowhere in my original post did I expect our fans to stay sober and not enjoy the party, but I was really seeking for fans not to do stupid things like throwing flares in kids faces and the like. Please do not suggest that this kind of behavior does not happen. The supporters of our club do have an history of this kind of loutish behavior.

As for flares being lit inside the stadium at the roof level, that is exactly the kind of life threatening stupidity I meant. Presumably the idiots that did this had not heard of the many killed by a fire in Bradford's stadium some years ago. The risks were to United fans there this time.

On top of this, punishment from the football league could have resulted in a points deduction, negating all of Chris Wilder and his team's efforts. That would not have put the idiots at the top of any popularity poll.
Punishment by the law could have meant life sentences in prison too.

The flares were not 'at roof level'.

Bradford's architecture was archaic, it was a predominantly wooden terrace/stand. In this day and age, unless you emptied MK's collective waste into the stand and then dropped the flare into it, no such thing would happen.

To compare is ridiculous.

They'd be bored after 5 minutes. No concourse. No pitch cover. No air con units....... and the last time I went the concertina tunnel thingy was two pieces of tarp hung off scaffolding poles.
I suppose they could always play with the advertising boards so long as they leave ours alone.
