Manager Suggestion Please have a look at Nuno!

I agree with the majority view that this move is highly unlikely because Nuno will be in demand elsewhere.
That said, if our owners really did want to make a huge statement of belief in their approach then spending whatever it takes to get Nuno in would make massive sense. He would be absolutely perfect to mould a team and an overall approach that gets the best out of the random set of players we appear to have assembled.
I think there’d be few if any Blades who wouldn’t get on board if COH somehow pulled it off.
Agree with everything you've said, unfortunately after watching utd for near on 60 odd years, it ain't happening mate as we all know, owners over the years have never had any ambitions for the club! Mainly lack of money i suppose/ and false promises. Always appointed someone else's failure hoping it will work, which in some cases it did to a certain extent, but falling at the final hurdle...we live in hope.

Would take him as our new manager in a heartbeat.

But it's not going to happen while we're in the championship.

His time with Wolves and the last season and a half that he had at Forest will have earned him plenty of PL admirers, and there's currently 3/4 PL managers whose jobs are currently under threat.

You would need Birmingham City level funding and ambition for any chance of him dropping down to the Championship.
Joining Sheffield United would be bordering on career suicide for someone like him. Nothing to gain, but a whole lot to lose.

His ambitions would be in tatters if he joined us😊

Cooper turned us down, flat, after CW was axed.

Delusional to even think that Nuno would even glance at us. He has much bigger ponds to fish in and, I'd suggest will rightly be looking for owners who are professional, consistent and have the money and fan base to mirror and back his ambitions.

That's not us. Not by a long way. Not a pessimistic view, just realistic.

Not if COH have the ambition they claim to have.

I get the realism/pessimism / whatever, but basically what seems to be said is we can only afford an ineffective manager. If that is the case, it makes me even more perplexed that we got rid of Wilder - it makes zero sense when, at worst, he was above average during his time with us, and we seem to be saying we can't expect to attract a manager who can achieve anything like that. We really are good at kicking ourselves in the teeth, but that seems to be the Blades' way. COH, please change this approach and go get Nuno :)

Yeah I don't disagree but my point was Kendall is the only manger who has come in and changed us from a blood and thunder side to a football team
He did instantly and every manager since has failed dismally

I'm hoping someone will again
Went to his first game away at Port Vale - we drew 0-0 but the football we played was unrecognisable from the games before - and I mean in a good way

There's going to be a number of jobs before Xmas as there's a few under pressure. And him being available will probably speed up the P45 process.
Potter at wet spam
Amorin at manure
And a couple of wild cards 2 coaches I can't see surviving.
Farke at weeds
Parker

He’ll have plenty of clubs in for him. Not a hope he comes to the championship !!
