After going on yours and Huddersfield forum I find you guys to be very friendly and willing to talk, huddersfield fans are arrogant with a few exceptions, I hope you wipe the floor with them.
If they lose say bye bye to Rhodes then see where they are. 2nd leg we played them off the park.
Good luck

Cheers. Hope we don't see you next season and you get your revenge on Udders. Thanks for the good wishes.

Thanks for that, I would have preferred a final against MK Dons, there would have been a lot more football on display. You caught us on a VERY bad day at your ground and we were lucky to get off with only a slight defeat. I thought you were the better team in the second leg their goal very much against the run of play. Best Wishes for next season, hope your manager takes you up.

Thanks Paul. A Huddersfield mate of mine says Rhodes is gone whatever happens. Just because they will have money to buy someone doesnt mean they will be a success. I give you Andy Carroll as an example

Cheers Paul!

Always good to have other supporters coming on here and joining in/ having a bit of friendly banter.

On a pure footballing point I watched your game last night and MK were clearly wanting to get the ball down on the deck and play. Huddersfield as we know are a lot more physical and Rhodes was clearly the difference in your two games. Last night they knew you were going to go for it, so set themselves up well to hit you on the break. They perhaps could’ve put the tie to bed in 20-30 mins if they’d taken their chances. As the game went on you guys looked much stronger and probably deserved to get another to take it to extra time. The first leg ruined it for you.

I read this morning that Alan Smith got jumped on by a few Huddersfield idiots, which is a disgrace. The PL & FL have to act on these pitch invasions.

I like your manager, Robinson seems to have a bit of character about him and wants to get the ball down and play.

As for MK, well I still remember the old Wimbledon and still can't help but feel that the team should never have been able to relocate. Shame really - you seem to be decent fans and play decent football.

Good luck for next season. You lot staying down means that AFC Wimbledon just need one more promotion.

In fairness to Milton Keynes - the people there deserve a football club (I lived there for 10 years once and know how it has helped the community) and their attendances far outshine what Wimbledon used to get - even in the FAPL. Don't forget that the only reason Wimbledon went to MK was because Merton Council wouldn't give them a ground, so MK (Winkleman) stepped in.

Whatever the rights and wrongs were at the time, I think it is nice to see the football club flourish. In all honesty, it is only one step removed from a Sugar Daddy coming in and getting any football club promoted up the leagues (think Wigan) - which funnily enough no one seems to have a problem with.

Good luck to MK I say. And I like their manager - talks a lot of sense.

Cheers Paul!

I quite agree. As punishment I think Jordan RHodes should be banned for his next game :)

Good idea. We should also be banned from playing our top goal scorer for this season. It's the only way we'll learn.... That'll be ched then

I've no problem with Milton Keynes having or deserving a football club. But Winkleman should have built a club, not hijacked another.

No offence to PaulMK - their fans aren't to blame for anything - but I'd love to see AFC Wimbledon play MK Dons sometime soon and get it all out of their system. :)

That said, I agree MK's manager is impressive and they play better football than most of the top 8 in that division.

just like our massive neighbuors then !

Im glad you lost ,we can beat Huddersfield but you would have been more difficult on a big pitch at Wembley.

I don't like MK Dons, and despise them nearly as much as i despise Wednesday.

The reason being is that you can't take a football club and completely rebrand them and change their identity, in to something else, just because an area could do with a football club.

I'd respect MK Dons if they had started at the bottom like several other clubs have done, and made it big and in to the football league under their own steam, rather than taking someone else's club as a quick way of doing it.

Wimbledon should have been left to their own devices, and if they went bust, they should have been replaced by someone on merit, rather than being sold off to the highest bidder.

Wimbledons board moved the club, they even looked at Ireland because Merton council wouldn't give them anywhere for a ground.
They moved to the hockey stadium dropped to league 2 and went into administration, Winkleman bought them out of administration and built a new ground for the club. The FA ruled the team name had to represent its conurbation so was changed to MK Dons.
There are still Wimbledon fans coming to MK. It is a myth it was stolen it was them that chose to move. I can see why people don't like it though.

PaulMK your right, you played us off the park the other night for most of the game and played the better football of the 2 teams over both games.I thought the thing that let you down was the lack of clear cut chances after all that posession and good football,as some say the difference probably was Rhodes.

It is frustrating to watch Mk sometimes with lots of possession and not much end result although we did score 110 goals this season, we could do with a 20+ goal scorer and we might go up next season.

I'm a Wednesdayite, and want to wish the Blades all the best for the weekend .............. we need to keep the rivalry, banter and most importantly the local derby going ........... so I for one will be sorry if Huddersfield win.

I'll do the decent thing and say thank you siamesgirl ;) ..personally though, I hate the derbies!

I couldn't care less.... If we do...we do...If we don't...we don't........same owd Pisspot United whatever happens.
Sell........sell.........sell.

Resigned to defeat personally but what is giving me hope is that it seems different with DW in charge. This time there is:

No Howard Kendall in a day-glo sweat stained shirt necking gin from a hip flask and dreaming of a move to Everton.

No Dean Windass defecating on the putting green 2 days prior then going home with the face on

No Blackwell playing for penalties

No last minute change of formation a la Warnock

No Craig Beattie
