I suppose some could have started with us, left then signed for us twice. Can't think anyone has, though.

Neill Collins is another off the top of my head, loan first then signed years later. Geoff Salmons left and came back on loan, as did Kyle Walker. Must have been plenty that did that.

He was on loan Nov-Dec -02, went back to Boro, played one game for them and then re-signed permanently in Jan. So technically 2 spells.
