I think it highlights how few players stay around for any length of time at clubs, if we had been promoted twice in 4 seasons in previous years there would be a lot more names on the list more than likely

Thanks Silent. I saw most of the games starting in the Hagan era through the 2 Shaws and Hodgy's time . However, I did not see any games in the 1938-9 season as I was just learning to walk never mind watch football.
Unfortunately, I could only manage to watch about 20 live games after that, as I left Sheffield in 1990 and live 6,000 miles away. Thanks to TV and Internet etc. plus sites like this I am well served and still retain my heartfelt support for the Blades.
