Players that have Cost us One Way or Another

Petr Cech.

Silly hat wearing bastard broke Rob Hulse's leg at Chelsea when he was our top scorer at the time. The rest is history.

Stephen “rhyming slang” Hunt, whose skull-fracturing fuckery with Petr Cech nurtured a desire for bone-crushing vengeance in the silly hat wearing bastard.

I still reckon he left his leg in. Obviously didn't intend to fracture Cech's skull, but to let him know he was there, like.

David Unsworth for missing a penalty for us and scoring a penalty against us in the same season!!

Mark 'fucking' Stein
David 'fucking' Hopkin
Steve 'fucking' Simonsen
Kevin 'fucking' Pressman
David 'fucking' Unsworth
Dean 'fucking' Windass
Gareth 'fucking' Ainsworth
The Man City player that broke Trevor Hockey's leg (Silent will confirm)
Rodney ‘fucking’ Marsh

There are actually United fans who think Jagielka deliberately gave away a penalty in the last minute to get us relegated so he could engineer a move away from us.

Incredible.

So why do you think he DID do it ?

It was so fucking blatant and obvious that it couldn't have been an accident. I have my own theory, but I'm interested to hear those of you and other members.

What I do know for certain is that it had a massive negative impact on our club and for that reason, I can never forgive him for it.

And by the way, yes he had some very good games for us and scored a wonderful goal in a key match but he also had his fair share of stinkers. Home to Wet Sham and away against Leicester spring immediately to mind.

There must be video of the handball though I can't remember seeing it. My lasting thought was that he was pushed in the back, his arms went out and the ball hit him. Could be completely wrong of course and he committed the most blatant handball in Premier League history.

Holebas's handball for Watford a few weeks ago was more blatant, it happens every other week.

Kuqi scored a last minute winner for Oldham at BDTBL on 3rd March 2012, and the doubts started. Oldham's three scorers that day? Cresswell, Kieran Lee & Kuqi. Oh, the irony.

McGuire got sent off and Lecsanells or whatever his name was got injured in that game.

Had neither event happened, the I think we wouldn't have lost and ultimately we would have gone up

Lowton sent off as well for 2 stupid bookings, virtually new back 4 next 3 games think we only got 1 point

Not a player who cost us but a manager - Benitez the then manager of L’pool fielded a weakened team against Fulham.

Kevin Phillips winner in added time on the first day of the season at Brum in 2008 ended up costing us automatic promotion on the last day as without it we would have been level on points with 2nd place Brum with us having a better goal difference.

In the event we finished 3rd and lost to Burnley in the play off final.

It was United's cowardly approach that day that cost them. Birmingham were there for the taking.

It's proof that points dropped at the start of the season are just as important as those dropped towards the end.

We lost both games (Oldham and, I think, Walsall) due to Lowton's stupidity. Minutes after Oldham equalised, Lowton, already on a booking, committed a foul in Oldham's penalty area to get sent off. That, more than Evans' conviction, cost us promotion. In one moment of madness a probable six points turned into zero.

Michael Brown (controversial I know) - I will to my dying day maintain that if he'd scored that pen at the millennium in 2003 we'd have come back and beaten wolves.

Whoever it was (webber I think) that missed a 1v1 against 10 man forest that meant we drew 0-0 and were the only match in my 15-game acca that day that I got wrong....would have won close on half a million quid. Didn't cost the club anything but left me in tears.

And finally...

Chedwyn Michael "fucking" Evans. You stupid stupid bastard.

Paul Coutts not his fault so will name Marvin Sordell, some say that our season was fooked when he broke his leg.

Ched Evans, some say that after his conviction and imprisonment our season was fooked up.

Tevez, some say it was him and his associates underhand dealings that fooked our Premiership place.

Phil Jagielka, some say it was not the above Argentinian but his deliberate handball and subsequent converted penalty that cost us our Premiership place.

I can think of another one but i just trumped so i have to stop typing and go and wipe my arse.

Anymore ?

That's where Alex 'fucking' Nicholls comes in. Walsall v Sheffield United, 6th March 2012, three days after the Oldham debacle, we lose 3-2, Nicholls scoring an 81st minute winner. At the time they were a heady 19th in the league.

They'd have to be insanely fucking thick to believe that. Especially when it was in the first half.
