My abiding memory of Barry Hayles was seeing him pulling up outside the Mail Coach on west Street one Saturday night after a home game in the tiniest car you've ever seen (Hyundai Atos/Toyota Yaris sort of thing) and an implausible amount of women exiting the car behind him. It was like the Ant Hill Mob.
