Honest............ listen to the 'interview' with our illustrious leader.
'Forwards lack bottle and wont put the boot in' ,not himself who lacks the bottle to pick them yet still sticks the boot in.

Are you watching Mr McCabe ,have a look at the opposing dug outs next saturday and cry ,you fool.

shocking interview, he should blame himself instead of refering to our 'clearance bargain' players....

why would he blame himself? the fat twat hasn't got an ounce of decency in his body. i'm surprised he even did an interview. when we lose he usually throws a tantrum and sends someone else out to face the music.

Absolutely awful interview. Not the actions of a leader.

What are the players going to think when they hear that?

He's shown himself to be totally selfish and not care at all about his team.

What a horrible individual. Totally lacking in what it takes to be a leader of men.

"Do you think you have the quality to make the playoffs?"
=
Huge pause and non-committal answer.

Even better was when it was put to him that he's brought in the players, and he said something along the lines of "They were the only players available at the time"

Dear Christ.

Think he sits with Glenn Miller on one side and Lord Lucan on the other these days.

Dear Christ.

I actually thought it was worse than that. For nd, he basically said he wouldn't have signed them if he had more money.

Mark our manager out of 10 for :

Tactics
Player choice
Transfer ability
Motivation
management
communication skills
Sucking up to the the chairman.

Even Robson beats him until it comes to the last question.

He scored more on the last question than the rest put together for me.

Siep fit but unable to play against Plymouth due to his loan according to the OS.He then played a reserve game midweek and came through unscathed,if so why couldn't he make the starting eleven today.
Something must be done we are shipping goals left and right.
We have already allowed 47 goals against thats more than all of last season when we allowed 39.
Blackwell sits Camara for Quinn then if RS is to be believed Blackwell is caught screaming at Quinn from the sidelines with Quinn screaming back at him.
Why does he stick with Quinn if he is not performing on the pitch. Why play a player who when given direction by the manager screams back he obviously has no respect for the manager.
A manager should bench a player for showing that kind of disrespect on the field.

I could understand him calling the players if he just let em' go out and play but he's stood on the touchline all game shouting orders and telling em' what to do. They should know whats required of em'. If they can't think for themselves then they should'nt be on the pitch. No wonder your Naughton told him to Fuxx Off last season. So it's his fault, the players are only playing to his orders.

Just heard it - an interview that was worse than the performance at Selhurst today.

I remember not that long back one of the Pigs managers, could have been Laws or maybe the one before him, coming on the radio after a defeat and saying pretty much the same as Blackwell said yesterday. Oh how we laughed..................but tragically, here we are now in exactly the same boat. We're skint, we have a piss poor squad, we have a manager who really doesn't understand the concept of man management and motivation, and we're heading in one direction and one direction only. Does he honestly think that spouting that stuff will get the players backing? Maybe, I think he really is that dumb.

Get rid of the shitbag, he signs poor players, he can't get them to play, he's woeful when it comes to tactics and he's a brown nose who daren't make waves. Get a manager with a pair of bollocks who isn't scared to play attacking football, who encourages a passing game, and who'll kick the door to McCabes office in and demand that we spend some cash, and if McCabe says no well he's the next one who should piss off because he's taking the mick, as he has done for a very long time imo but there goes another debate.

We're on the slide ladies, it's only going to get ugly.

I agree, other than the bit about McCabe spending more money. £50M of debt is way too much already, albeit squandered on devaluing concrete.

We should concentrate on getting more out of an already inflated wage bill.

Release Naysmith and Speed. Sell Evans to any interested party. Offload Quinn, France, Stewart, Taylor. You'd have towards £5M per year there, with ZERO impact on the team.

I understand the above may make time, but it's an indication of how we've overpaid and / or brought in dross - that we can clear up and bring in much better for the money.

And a new manager will be a start.

I thought it was a very strange interview from Radio Moron.
A couple of weeks ago, Paul Moron was deriding Blades fans for unreasonably moaning and yet there he was evidently thinking the same thing as the fans who have to watch what's been served up away from home in particular virtually all season.
Perhaps we'll have a public apology from Radio Moron this week.
As for Blackwell, his comment on the players he's brought in should be enough for his sacking but we'll probably limp on until May.
But for McCabe, if you want your bucket collection to go ok next season, you need to be making decisions about how this club is managed next season.
If renewals go as badly as they're likely to in the next month, you might want to think about making a clear statement about the future in the next few weeks.

If the players aren't willing to battle and put the boot in, Have some balls blackwell and drop them. Bring in some youth players who will give commitment then. I'd rather see that than another dire performance like yesterday.

To be fair to Naysmith in his interview this week on RS he stated that he would need to drop his wage demands to get a new deal.

How much money does Blackwell need? He is always saying that times are tough etc, yet he seems to be moaning about a lack of funds and being forced into signing players he didn't really want.

What amazes me about the interview was that at the start Walker didn't really try and wind him up. He made one bland comment about the match and then just launched into it.

The most glaring thing for me is the seemingly total lack of feeling he has for the club. I know he's doing a job just like anybody else but I cannot stand the comments like 'it's all very well having a go at me and the staff but what about the players?' Fair enough, he can say what he wants, but as a professional getting paid alot of wedge you need to understand what will work best and publically moaning, complaining and blaming is not in my thinking a way of improving results.

What annoyed me was Walker and Edwards constantly slating our performance, but Walker bottled it when he interviewed Blackwell.

Perhaps he didn't want to come across as a moron for questioning him.

Disagree, he pointed out we had no shots and directly asked whether we were good enough to get in the play-offs.
What is more annoying and hypocritical is that the same man publicly derided Blades fans a couple of weeks ago as morons and was anxious to point out that we were 7th and what more did we want.
Seeing it for himself, he seems to have had a miraculous conversion.

Thats a great point Len ,I hope someone has the front to ask him or one of his lackies about it tomorrow night.

Just listened to the Blackie interview. This isn't a pro Blackie post. But....Was he wrong in what he said about the players?

By the sound of it, the players did bottle it yesterday, just like they did at the end of the season at Palace.

I don't like us changing the formation home and away, but it worked last season albeit with different players.

At Forest he started with the 4-4-2 but we conceded early, so perhaps he wanted to start with the 4-5-1 yesterday and switch later (which sounds like what he did)

The why's and where's of dropping Camara for Quinn etc are being discussed elsewhere, but a team that created plenty of chances the week before couldn't manage it away.

So whilst I think Blackies drowning and should take more responsibility for his own actions etc, the players have to stand up and be counted.
