Why not? Love to dress up.Is there even a place for black tie events in the 21st century?
People are upset that it's expensive to get a ticket to a player of the Year awards.
Personally I am a little surprised it's open to the public at all! Hopefully it's a chance for players to celebrate and to have fans there probably isn't ideal!
To be fair, even if they didn't sell tickets, there would likely be members of the public present in the form of sponsors and what have you.People are upset that it's expensive to get a ticket to a player of the Year awards.

My dad is now retired, but was lucky enough to attend this event in 2018/19, as he worked for a company which had (and still has I believe) some form of relationship with the club. So he was present for the debut of John Egan's infamous "Olé Olé Olé" chant. Jammy bugger.
Must have put a full 2 years in for that one .I have been once, got some tickets for length of service from work. Unfortunately it happened to be the Nigel Adkins year

It's not the day before the play off final.Bit negative to arrange it for the day before play off final.
£180, I’ll just have a few bottles and watch the video of Wilder dancing and singing on the table. It’ll almost be like being in the room for free
Oops my whoosh moment.View attachment 208780
Let me explain, our history in the play offs is so bad they arranged it th…….. oh forget it.
Don't leave us hanging, come on... names!Went to loads from 1990 odd to 2010. Relatively cheap for tickets and each table had a couple of players on. Met some really nice players and a couple of dick head ones. Usually a really good night.
Wouldn't consider it at that price.
